We have many former Vizio P owners now posting in our Oled owners' threads...It seems like the transition from this model to Oled E, B, or C is now the norm

I would love an OLED but can not justify it financially so I'm sticking with this set for the long term. There's been quite a few firmware updates that have boosted the performance in my opinion with the latest finally getting the 720p upscaling to look pretty great, as it was problematic when I first brought it. Our cable hd signal is actually highly watchable now on it and it was a source of frustration for some time for me. The biggest reason I brought this for though was the abilty to watch UHD blu-ray in high dynamic range and it's incredible foor that, even with being slightly less bright than some hdr capable sets.

When my TV and/or tablet is on, it gives off an open Wi-Fi signal. Not sure how this is happening.

Alright guys, I have to say -

I am AMAZINGLY impressed with this television.

What it's giving me for $1550 (Costco sale in February) is nothing short of incredible. I didn't know LCDs could give me black levels like this! (My previous recent experience is with an edgelit JS8500) I was astonished by how good the black levels are, the color, and everything.

It seems like I won the panel lottery with this P65 too, I had no banding or any visible discoloration on the screen.

I only intended to buy it as a stopgap until the A1E arrives, and to test it out for my friend who wants a P75, but I'm wondering about keeping it now and finally replacing my old Kuro as a 2nd TV. Sure, it can't do the absolute black & amazing view angles that my LG B6 had, but that TV cost twice as much.

And I've only spent one night with it!

Glad you're enjoying it! While it's currently my TV for my PS4 and some occasional 4K streaming, it will be pressed into duty more once 4K via DirecTV becomes more prevalent.

It looks pretty dang good on UHD blu-rays. While it's not as good as my ol' B6 in terms of the usual stuff, blacks, color spectrum, contrast - it's definitely superior in motion processing and that's why I'm enjoying it so much right now.
