Just checked Sony Pictures Publicity(anyone can go on it) and they updated their 2017 list. No Resident Evil The Final Chapter on it.

I am pretty interested to see the trailer. I have a soft spot for this series for some reason. What do people rank these movies anyway? Personally this is my ranking...

Resident Evil
Afterlife
Apocalypse
Extinction
Retribution (this is the only one I really hated)
Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and things with... molecular structures

Retribution I like purely for the action scenes which is why it's in my collection, that and the fact I wanted to get the steelbook before it sold out. lol

Forget the subtitles but I really liked 1 and 3, 2 is okay, and I find the last two pretty terrible. Pretty sure my head-canon ends with the third movie, but we'll see how he finished it all off.

The Scott Bros. do no wrong.
Dolby Vision is a company grasping at relevance.

This is my exact order as well (with the same reason too) I outright hated Retribution and never planned to pick it up but the 3D version was so cheap a few months ago that I ended up picking it up.

I like all the movies equally. They're great time killers.

I like 'em all. I used to have #3 at the bottom of the pile but on a faily recent rewatch I warmed to it a lot more. Loved the last one though, it makes zero sense but what does in this screwy series? The end credits music is awesome too, love dat Hexes.

I think the first three somehow balance the stupidity and fun better and are much better films overall, but that could be my CGI coming out for the increasingly video game like appearance of the last two.

Loved the first 4.
The 5th is a disgrace.
Everything that happened in it was 1 big lie and I felt completely cheated. Was utterly pointless.
It was as if the whole film was an excuse to end it with that final awesome shot.
Pre-ordered
The Flash Seasons 1 & 2, The Jungle Book (steelbook), Star Trek Beyond (normal steelbook & Zoom exclusive steelbook), X-Men Apocalypse (digibook)
Looking for
Star Wars saga slipbox only
Ant-Man 3D UK slip
