Retribution I like purely for the action scenes which is why it's in my collection, that and the fact I wanted to get the steelbook before it sold out. lol

Forget the subtitles but I really liked 1 and 3, 2 is okay, and I find the last two pretty terrible. Pretty sure my head-canon ends with the third movie, but we'll see how he finished it all off.

This is my exact order as well (with the same reason too) I outright hated Retribution and never planned to pick it up but the 3D version was so cheap a few months ago that I ended up picking it up.

I like all the movies equally. They're great time killers.

I like 'em all. I used to have #3 at the bottom of the pile but on a faily recent rewatch I warmed to it a lot more. Loved the last one though, it makes zero sense but what does in this screwy series? The end credits music is awesome too, love dat Hexes.

I think the first three somehow balance the stupidity and fun better and are much better films overall, but that could be my CGI coming out for the increasingly video game like appearance of the last two.

Loved the first 4.
The 5th is a disgrace.
Everything that happened in it was 1 big lie and I felt completely cheated. Was utterly pointless.
It was as if the whole film was an excuse to end it with that final awesome shot.
Steelbooks Pre-ordered
Avengers Infinity War (4K), Black Panther (4K), Deadpool 2 (4K), Ready Player One, Tomb Raider

3 is correct, only one with a director that knows what he is doing

It indeed has the best direction, but I also like that Mad Max-y atmosphere. Milla is bad ass too.

I like Paul Anderson as a director, especially Event Horizon and Soldier. In his later movies he relies a bit too much on those awful slow-mo effects. It ruined Retribution for me.
