Edit*** Just looked at the last page...someone mentioned they were individual cases with slips over them.

If you're curious, I put a couple pics in the slipcover thread. They are each 4-disc case in a slipbox.

Wanted to see A Letter to Elia for so long, but never could justify importing the Fox DVD set to the UK at that price.

Now I see it's been released seperately, on Blu-ray, but not readily available, even more so for those in the UK

Just received Vol 1 & 2 today so you know what I'll be watching for the rest of the week (especially A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, a personal favorite)!

Not sure how your versions arrived, but mine came in a 4-disc plastic case with a slipbox... pretty sturdy by my standards. Nothing like the cardboard Forever Marilyn set, although for $24.99 at Costco, I can deal with the shoddy packaging on that one.

ditto! I thought the plastic case with cardboard slipbox was excellent; wish the 4 disc in the Lincoln BD set were provided in a case like this!
