^ I bought a version (DVD) of Transformers that was like that one... it folded out into Optimus Prime.

Is there any word on any special features for K-19, Far and Away or The Dambusters at all?

I'm positive they're exactly identical to both US and European continental releases. I know for sure that K-19 will be identical to its US counterpart, which would probably include a commentary, a 20 minute making of, 3 short featurretes and a trailer. As for Far and Away, I'm also positive it's also identical to other foreign releases with the only extra being a trailer but The Dam Busters, I'm not so sure. US haven't exactly released it yet but UK have released two editions, one being standard and the other being labelled a special edition, which includes a 57 minute documentary as the only extra.

JB HIFI have also come out with the upcoming 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray of Batman (1989). Not far! I understand it comes with a new documentary. Wonder if it will also include a new transfer, perhaps a new 4K scan?

No new scan. Think it's supposed to match the content of the US Diamond Luxe edition.

The US Diamond Luxe edition was originally scheduled for release on November but has since been pushed to December. Could be they're working on a new transfer. Hope that's the reason for it's delay. Would our release mirror the US as ours is scheduled for November so far! Hopefully theirs won't be superior to ours.

That's just so Best Buy gets a 1 month exclusive window as far as I know. Besides, if this was due to a remaster it would have been well publicised and completed well before now. There's no way Warner Bros would miss an opportunity to trumpet a brand new remaster on Batman's 75th anniversary.

Bit of a waste of money in my opinion. One extra special feature and a UV copy. Considering you can get the Batman Anthology for about the same price from the UK it's not exactly a great deal and definitely not a reason to upgrade unless you've got money to burn. We don't even get the Diamond Luxe packaging.
