Yes, Robocop 3 was the worst of the trilogy! It shouldn't have been made. You can easily tell that, Robocop 3 was rushed, only to capitalize on the franchise. The filmmakers of Robocop 3, probably already knew the movie was bad.

I remember getting mine for $7 back in 2011. I remember ordering it used, but it actually ended up being brand new and factory sealed.

I'm annoyed at having the Trilogy now that the 1st was remastered. I can't have Robocop AND Robocop Trilogy on my shelf. It just isn't right.

Edit: After seeing the prices of the Trilogy, I may just have to eBay my copy. 3 shouldn't exist anyway.

I must admit I am surprised that they have let the original box set go OOP with the new movie out. Even more so by not attempting to capitalize on a new box set containing the 4k remaster. Though 3 was a horrible sequel, I still would like the chance to pick up 2 at the very least, looks like I will be importing from the UK. Ugh, I hate those damn ratings logos on the covers combined with the thicker cases, but I am NOT paying $50 a movie here.

I went through that remorse as well. Then I just broke down & bought the UK set for a resonable price.

It's got ratings labels on the cover & the discs, and comes in the thick amray case. But I'm attending therapy sessions to get over it.

Well, I solved that one. I relocated the set into my 2-disc steelbook set like so:

- The remastered BD in place of the original BD
- Robo 2 in place of the DVD
- Robo 3 under my beverage glass...

I've found the trilogy for $12.00, at a local used media store a year ago.

If you sell the trilogy, you're not going to have Robocop 2, unless you order it separately from the UK, which wouldn't make sense to re-purchase the separate blu-ray since you already have the trilogy.

Default robocop trilogy OOP

I need some advice...

Does anyone think that when the 2014 robocop comes to blu-ray, that they'll put all 4 in a box-set? I ask because I want the trilogy but $130 is way too much.

i shoulda got this at best buy for 20 bucks when i had the chance!

Go to Best Buy or Target and pick up the remaster for part 1; price match the lowest price if you have to, which right now is Target or Amazon.com at $13.39 ($11.99 if you have a Frys in your area):

http://www.target.com/p/robocop-blu-...3&term=robocop
http://www.amazon.com/RoboCop-Unrate...ds=robocop+blu
http://www.frys.com/product/7952660?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG

... then go to Amazon UK and order the trilogy from there; the last two movies are Region Free so will play in a US player. Current price 11.69 (about $19.50 USD):

http://www.amazon.co.uk/RoboCop-Tril...obocop+trilogy

Slip the remaster into the trilogy set - voila, new trilogy for ~$33.

On another note: for those of you just looking for Robocop 2... Fry's has it listed as available (shipping only) on their site for $15.99.

I've found them to be somewhat unreliable in the past regarding accurate reporting of available stock, so I can't guarantee you won't get a cancellation email, but when I add to cart it comes up with shipping options, just no store pickup.

I already have the UK trilogy so I'm not gonna bother, but this might be worth a shot for someone.

Don't hold your breath. I placed the same order with Frys a few months ago and still nothing but emails stating that they probably won't get it in stock. It's been on backorder quite a while, maybe even years.

I would just get the UK edition if you want it soon.

I bought a copy on FRYS about a month and a half ago, immediately was sent a "out of stock notification". I figured they would not get it back so I bought a Chinese copy off of yesasia for $29 shipped, it has English packaging and is multi-region.

Got it and was very pleased. Last week I see $15 charged from FRYS in my bank account and the next day I got a copy from FRYS

Put it up on Evilbay to make up for the high price I paid for the Chinese copy.

If they sent me one then it should be in stock, go get it guys! Robocop 2 rules!
