Wish I did. All I know is there is a used copy downtown that haunts me because I really want it, but the usually reasonably priced store wants $19 for it, which is about the same as new! They also won't come off of that number for some reason, I have asked a few times. I'm in the boat with ya'll, waiting for a decent price.

I see several copies of Ticks (20th Anniversary Edition) blu ray on ebay which claim to be region free.
I had always held off on buying this because i thought it was locked. Can anyone confirm that it is the same blu discussed here and if it is indeed region free?
Thanks.

Thanks.
It's strange because i am not seeing any other version available.
I will contact some sellers, i would have to get it only to be left looking at the box for entertainment.

Anyone reading the review on this site should disregard the comments about the audio. For some strange reason, the reviewer came to the conclusion that the film is in Mono, when it is in Stereo like it should be.

Wow, kind of a random title to go OOP so quickly? Wonder if there was a rights issue of some sort that popped up?

Glad I took the notion to pick this up a few months back.

Well Jerry Beck did say on Stu's Show a while back that Olive's deal with Paramount was done. Perhaps, this is the part where Olive's Paramount titles are now going OOP.

I bought this on release date....such a fun 90s cheesefest. Shame it's OOP for others to enjoy. Sucks when a title going OOP creeps up on you right when you are interested in getting it.

i had this on my wishlist for a few months, but never got around to it. You'd think it would be incredibly easy to get a heads up on things from a distributor in todays social media world, but it is what it is.

I was hoping for the same. Now it has no chance of ever being that low, unless you're fortunate enough to find a clueless buyer.

So it looks like the Paramount deal was only 2 years. What other titles fall under this deal?

Wasn't The Boogens Paramount? If so that might go OOP soon...

Thinner, Fire With Fire, First Born, A New Life, Plain Clothes, 1900 and Reuben Reuben were all Paramount titles. There were a number of classic films as well.

Dang... I almost jumped on this not too long ago, but like others I was turned off by the usual highish price of Olive titles.

At least I have The Boogens and Thinner

Amazon Canada still has it in stock for $20 CDN (which is a steal). Just be sure you're buying from Amazon for worldwide shipping because I think the product page defaults to a 3rd-party seller.

Due to the new Ticks fiasco, I finally picked up copies of Thinner and The Boogens. If paramount is not renewing their liscense with Olive Films, then these could be the next 2 titles to go OOP.
