Really liked that film - reminding me of a Guy Ritchie film, with the fast cuts and the tongue-in-cheek comedy. Also, signed up to the website; it's very nice and a great place to meet fellow film-makers and watch what they produce.

I made a couple of films when I was in college, but, unfortunately, never got any copies of them to keep! One was a documentary on the making of one our college's performing arts plays, and that went very well - was nice to just shoot anything and everything that happens as it happens, without scripting or planning; lots of freedom and lots of time. Loved it.

Pre-orders: The Wicker Man Steel, Star Trek XI Zavvi Steel, 12 Angry Men, Raising Arizona, La Notte, The Sand Pebbles, Patton, The Great Escape, The Murderer Lives at 21, Les Miserables Digibook, One Hour Photo, Brides of Dracula, Evil of Frankenstein, Blow Out and The Last Temptation of Christ.

Thanks Matt92.

We showed another film by the same director last night at one of our short film events. It went down amazingly and we should have it on the site within the next month

Made a few at uni that were so bad it was comical. In one film, the one actor fell ill, so we had to replace him at short notice (as in on the day of shooting). The best we could do was get in a big tall guy to replace a short chubby bloke of a completely different ethinicty. We gave no explanation on why this was changed in the story too, watching it back its just plain odd, but unintentionally hilarious..

No, but I wish I could. I wrote a script about 4 years ago intended to be a low-budget love story / action flick, but with the overall condition of the film industry nowadays, it's virtually impossible to get anyone to read your stuff unless you have a "connection." Oh well, the way I look at it, I've got my own private film both in my mind and on paper, so crystal clear in fact, that if I had any artistic/drawing talent whatsoever, I could storyboard every single scene for it. As it is, I'm content with the fact that I will likely never have the chance to make a film, and figure if the Lord had intended me to do such, he would've put things in place for it to happen .

Ron Jeremy and I have decided to part ways. Our visions were mutually incompatible and I refused to give up artistic control. Some people!
