They shipped me 2 of them a month ago, March 5. Normally I get them Arizona 7 -10 days later - when they use Royal Mail, which they always have in the past. Nothing. I waited until after the delivery estimate of March 25 and then contacted them on the 27th via online chat. I told them I always received orders in 10 days or so & asked if they were sent via Royal Mail. She said no, via DHL Global Mail, so I told her no wonder they're not here, DHL is the worst carrier in the world. Amazon.fr once shipped an order to me via DHL and from the tracking I could see it went to the UK before being sent back as "undeliverable". Any idiot that thinks Arizona is somewhere in the UK has no business being in the shipping business.

Anyway, I agreed to wait until the end of today and if it doesn't arrive they were going to refund me in full as it was no longer available for replacement. I'm going to wait until these are sold out again before requesting a refund as at this point the way this "Limited Edition" magically keeps getting significant more stock I don't want it, especially if they're going to use DHL and wait another month for the replacements.

In another order I managed to get a copy of Life of Pi Steelbook pree-ordered before they sold out, I've changed the shipping address to an online friend in Scotland and will pay him to re-ship it to me with Royal Mail.

Well somebody wants em! The stock was over 100 when I first posted that it was back in stock. Now down to 65 already. It will probably be gone by end of day.

I agree with you... whenever they use DHL - it takes like forever to arrive and at times in beaten up condition.

How can you tell? When I try to change the quantity in my basket to, say 95, it changes it down to 2, the max allowed per order.

Make sure you don't have other items in your basket and just press enter, don't click on update.

Same problem! I waited over a month, but nothing. They refunded me when it didn't arrive. I'll just keep my copy with the spine slash. It burns me a little that they received more stock. Won't be ordering though. Maybe my lost copy will show up some day.

works for me even if i click update. but actually, i don't even have to do anything. i have that steel only in my basket and all I do is click on my basket and it auto (downward updates) to the number available. Since the number available is sinking fast, the number I previously "wanted" to order is always greater than the new amount available. I just clicked on my basket again and it went from 65 to 54 automatically. Pretty cool that they let us see that.

+1, mine shipped out of Feb 16th by DHL, hasn't arrived.
But I've been watching online and made single orders.
They refunded my original payment and been matching the original price I paid for my new order.

Maybe this new stock is the undeliverable orders that were returned to Amazon.

It must be so nice to own a website like Amazon.
People buying millions of items everyday. What's the name of the owner? Something with Bezos I believe.

I am sure he earns a lot of money, even though Amazon's profit is low or none at all. I believe their strategy is to sell a lot (volume), but little profit (or sometimes none at all) on each item.

you're hilarious man. Jeff Bezos is a multi-billionaire and one of the wealthiest people on earth.

as for amazon profit, it comes and goes by quarter. last quarter, they made about 100M (not much for 21B in sales.)

but they are playing a different game right now. they are building. they are so far out ahead of everyone in online retail sales, that their "profit" at this time really doesn't matter. their insane growth is what is valuable. Amazon could turn mammoth profits at a moments notice. that's just not their focus right now.

Bezos is the founder, but it's a publicly traded company with a market capitalization of $118 billion dollars. When you're selling millions of items you don't need so much profit on each item. And they make their profit in a lot of different ways - selling item, video streaming, Marketplace commissions, etc. I read last year that for many items they actually make more profit from commissions from Marketplace 3rd party sellers than they do selling the item themselves. I love Amazon, I have a package coming from them today, a USB wireless network adapter for a PC. A whole $9.95 w/ free 2 day shipping with Prime. And I pay an online friend a whole 20 bucks a year to be one of his "family member" & use his Prime account. Hey, for 20 bucks a year for free 2 day shipping, he's my brother.

Wow. Only 21 left now folks. For those that "missed the boat" and didn't get a copy of this... if you don't want to resort to Ebay or whatever, you still have a chance.

These have really cratered in price on eBay, thanks to all the additional copies of the "limited edition steelbook" reappearing. It was going for $50-60+ in February, now can be had for $30ish & even less. Costs about $26 from Amazon UK.

But I guess folks still want them, now sold out again. And Amazon is processing my refund for my order shipped March 5 via DHL, who no doubt are tyring to deliver it somewhere in Argentina. Sabe donde es "Arizona", Seņor ?
