Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 was like Die Another Day. Great first half then when the main character goes to another location halfway through the movie (Tennessee in this case), it was all downhill after that.

Another huge gripe I had with the movie was the climax:

[Show spoiler]After getting the Iron Patriot suit back, Rhodes should've been the one to save Iron Man's ass, not Pepper. That was so forced and vomit inducing to watch happen!

It still bugs the crap outta me that Rhodes changed actors (even though I've eventually been converted )

Agree. I like Don, but Terrence had clicked so much better on screen with Robert.

I probably would've liked Iron Man 2 better had Terrence not been a victim of Marvel's studio politics.

A lot of people were disappointed and it's not hard to see why. I'm definitely not going to trust any of the trailers for the remaining Phase Two movies, I can tell you that.

It's not quite that he was a victim, but apparently he requested more money than Marvel felt he was worth given his role and decided to recast him instead. Don Cheadle has grown on me, but i'm always disappointed when a main cast member gets replaced.

Still, Cheadle is fine for most from now on cause he's been in 2 movies I suppose.

I heard he was lowballed. I'm more inclined to believe that since Norton told a similar story when he was given the shaft.

Terrence looks more like a Rhodey but, he needs to ditch the Mike Tyson voice and get low like Vin Diesel

Didn't Favreau say Howard was really difficult to work with? Seems like I remember reading that somewhere. That combined with the money issue seems to make the decision easy.
