Ok, just tried my Lego Movie 3D lenti slip inside an SCF3 (currently housing a Kimchi Whiplash lenti slip). It fits, but a bit loose. Tried it inside an SC3 and it fits but leaves the spine exposed. With that said, I would recommend this: http://www.steelbookcentral.com/scf1...vers-382-p.asp

Just wanted to pop in and say I'd like to thank this thread for being so dang helpful. I've bought a 10 pack from Retro Protection to help protect my very, very small steelbook collection (Lucy, Blood and Black Lace, The Reflecting Skin and soon, Synapse's Tenebrae and many more to come, perhaps). This thread is a priceless tool for everyone. So thank you all. Y'all the real MVPs.

Is blu steel the only place that has cases for jumbo steels right now? I only need a few for my Walking Dead Target steels.
204 steelbooks, 46 slipcovers, 510 blurays, 1500 DVDs

Ebay score: 460 positive feedback, 100% rating

Scott: How's your girl been?
Luis: Oh, she left me. And my mom died, too. And my dad got deported. But I got the van!

I have just received some protective selves off eBay and they are an awful fit and open on their own. Basically i have wasted a few pounds and should have asked which to buy on here first.

So who supplies the best protective cases? Are these SC3's from Steelbook Central good?http://www.steelbookcentral.com/sc3-...vers-362-p.asp

Cheers guys

Which ones did you buy? Name and shame them

SC3 is best for sealed steelbooks, or unsealed with a J card. SC2 is best for unsealed with no J card.

As luck would have it, I made a video on this a little while ago:

If you order direct from his website it'll be a few pennies cheaper, and you'll also get loyalty points: http://www.steelbookcentral.com/

Sorry, your not suggesting the eBay listing is by Steelbook central?

And they are crystal-clear for the most part. I hate when the sleeves have terrible scuffs on them

I'm one who opens and accesses the movies, so the slip cases by Steelbook Central are just about perfect for me. (I'd vote for finger notches on both sides, but I get why some people don't like that.)

I've noticed that the SC2s have been out of stock for a while now, so I contacted them today and learned that they'll have them back in stock "in three weeks", which translates to early March. I thought others might want to know.

I probably could have just asked in this thread since I bet I'm interacting with the same employees here without knowing it!

Matt doesn't come to this forum any more, but if you go here: http://www.steelbookcentral.com/news-28-c.asp

You'll see that the SC2 is indeed due back in stock at the end of this month, along with the new covers for Blufan's UE steels.

Ah, thanks. I guess I've been trained by other retail sites to look for that kind of information elsewhere, but I'll keep an eye on that page in the future.

You might want to change that 30th February date, though. I know production estimates can be a tricky business, but I can guarantee it won't be that day. <g>
