Wow...not necessary as the original Spanish film is excellent.

I agree. The original actors were mesmerizing, and it was a very deserving best picture winner. Wish they wouldn't try to copy movies that are great to begin with.

I'm trying not to let it bother me, but these unnecessary remakes of recent foreign films are grinding my gears!

Loved Juan Jose Campanella's original Spanish language version. It was a well deserved foreign film Oscar win. Hard to imagine that a Hollywood version will do it justice.

Completely forgot this movie is coming out, but the trailer looks fantastic. I haven't seen the original, so I need to check that out also.

Really need to see the original. That trailer made the remake look rather generic.

I love this cast, so I'll give it a chance.... But the original is superb.

The original is fantastic. Please do yourselves a favor and see it before the Hollywood remake.

although I'm sure why they needed to do a remake, Chiwetel, Nicole and Julia really deliver the actor chops in their roles - almost (almost) as good as the original movie.

For one the original it's R rated and works because of its premise this will undoubtably suck as its been dumbed down to a PG-13.

I'll see this for the actors, but I remember being floored by the original when I saw it a few years ago. Would be hard to top it, but who knows.

I had no idea about the rating, it was pretty rough for a PG-13 rating.

I don't believe so. There's a bunch of multiplexes that this is coming to in my area.
