Shame Momentum only gave us a 5.1 track for the UK release. I haven't seen it yet but the use of DSLR cameras for cock-pit filming really drew me to the film. It's amazing how far they've come in a few short years.

I'm looking forward to Dredd.
One of the best movies I've seen this year. Almost impossible to measure how much better than the Stallone movie it is, and absolutely criminal that more people didn't see it at the cinema.
I aim to misbehave.....

Pre-orders: Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 4, Once Upon a Time Season 1, The Sand Pebbles, Finding Nemo, Wreck-It Ralph, Cowboy Bebop Vols 1 & 2, From Here to Eternity, Star Trek: Enterprise Season 2, The Rocketeer

I quite liked Judge Dredd. It had the look some of the time but it seemed to be a star-vehicle instead of staying true to character. People said they were afraid of Robocop even though it was ten years earlier. It's a shame as some comic-book characters aren't very well known by the average audience so when they see films that have been inspired by them they think the original material is copying them!

I wonder how the new Robocop will fair?

The biggest danger in a Dredd movie was that it became a star vehicle, which is exactly what the first movie was of course. A shame, I have nothing against Stallone, but that movie was just a bad call all round.

Dredd otoh, Karl Urban, perfect. No baggage, VERY knowledgeable about the character, and stayed true to him. Turned out fantastically well, and Lena Headey, just excels per usual.

Hi Ricster.

What version of Red Tails did you buy that came with a PCM 7.1 soundtrack? According to this site, the US release and the UK release only come with a 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio soundtrack.
