He didn't mean in general. He meant this specific movie. Also, he posted that 7 months ago. Pretty sure the slip is gone now.

Somehow Wall•E seems to be the best fit with the wall style cover.

Amazon lists the three-disc Blu-ray + DVD pack with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1... That's an error, right? This site lists the correct aspect ratio. I just want to make sure before I get it.

Yes, it looks the best. The only one I will be getting as I already own all the Pixar films I want...besides A Bug's Life but I want the original cover once the price goes down.

BD PLAYER (REGION A) : Panasonic DMP-BD85K
BD PLAYER (REGION FREE) : Insignia NS-BRDVD4
HDTV : Panasonic Viera 50" Plasma TC-P50S2

No. Of the original releases, only the three disc with digital copy came with a slip.
desperately seeking MINT U.S. slips:
The Blind Side (original) - I Am Number Four (single disc, blue border) - Limitless - Sex and the City: The Movie

Please PM me if you have any of these available for purchase.

Just a heads up, on amazon I ordered the exclusive costco gift set version of Wall E, Up, and Monsters Inc. for 24.99 each. They're the BD, DVD, Digital copy version of the films and they all came with a slip that was in perfect condition since the they're housed in a special gift box. These look like the original releases rather the new ones since they have the slip and digital copy. I was surprised the digital copy codes still worked since I heard that Disney's codes expire after a year. Couldn't believe these were cheaper than the newer versions without the digital copy and without the slip. These gift sets come with stickers and a nice 50 page hardcover book so to me this was a great deal. Last time I checked amazon still had a bunch available.

Ok, I just watched this movie for the first time. The visuals and sound were fantastic, but I was blown away by the movie itself. What a great film. The pacing is perfect, the plot has nice ups and downs, and there are some great messages in there (without blatantly explaining things). It strikes the perfect balance of being a cute, appealing movie for kids while also treating the audience like intelligent people who can watch something and "get it" without having it verbally explained. I'm so glad that I bought this blindly- I think it's going to end up being one of my all time favorites.

Sorry for bringing an old thread to life, but I see that this week's flyer for Best Buy is advertising the 2-disc "wall slipcover" version of WALL•E, on sale for $19.99.

http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=209814

Does anybody know if the special feature called "The Pixar Story" By Leslie Iwerks is included on this particular version?

It IS included on the blue slipcover version which holds 2 bluray discs ...

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/WALL-E...y/1190/#Review

... but the print on the Best Buy ad says that the version they're selling is "Bluray + DVD" ... so I don't know if that means "2 blurays + 1 DVD" or "1 bluray + 1 DVD".

Yes, the "wall cover" version is 2 Blu-rays + 1 DVD. It does include The Pixar Story on the second Blu-ray disc.

That's great to hear! Thank you! (I have a RZ coupon I might use against it).
So many blurays, so little time.
