Lou, it should be a pretty sweet statue even though we have to wait on the proper arm. I probably will set him up with helmet on and ignited saber initially.
Thurs. can't come fast enough.
Had to put the Suburban(Vader 1) in the shop yesterday. Had a bunch of warning lights come on at once. Waiting to hear from the mechanic. Not lookin forward to that.

Hi guys!

Another prolonged absence, but I have a good excuse this time! I got my dream job as a comics reporter/blogger! My first assignment for the site was to go to New York and cover NYCC! I had so much fun, bu it took up all my time a couple months before until now lol. I even get to interview J.W. Rinzler this Thursday about The Star Wars Lucas Draft comic and his Making of books! I will be adding pics of my recent acquisitions this week!

I actually just wanted to see if any of you are still getting the Black Series waves of 6 inch and 3 3/4 inch figures. I got my Wave 2 of 6 Inch waiting for me when I get home from work later today, I can't wait to get my hands on Boba!

Anyway, just wanted to pop in, I am not dead lol.
At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.

There you are. Congrats on that job bro. That sounds awesome. Enjoy. In reference to the Black Series. I will have wave 2, 6" and 3 3/4 delivered today. I love these things. It's been a long while since I collected new action figures but the Black Series has made me want to collect em again. I will be sticking with this line as long as they keep up the great work with em.

On another note, sometimes I wish we could go back to the days of horse and buggy, since maintenance was cheaper. Spoke to my guy this morning and it's gonna cost me a around 700.00 for a full tune up and coolant flush for my suburban(Vader 1). I actually got him to drop the price a bit since I told him Pep Boys was cheaper than him. I figure we gotta do what we gotta do. I always shop around for the best price. He did the right thing so he got my business.

Ouch! That sucks buddy. Vehicles always find a way to hit you with a nice big bill right when you're not expecting it. Glad you were able to get a little bit off the price and its nice to see someone out there doing some good business for someone too.

On another note its awesome to hear about your wave 2's coming in today I've definitely got to get myself that 6" Boba. Its way too awesome not to have.

The only good thing about the vehicle doing this now is it's not during a trip. I've been lucky that way. I would rather have it happen while i'm home and not outta town. That would really suck. My Chevy dealership has been doing me right for a long time. That's why I stick with them.
Yeah like I said these figs are pretty badass. Lots of detail even in the smaller ones. Gotta keep up with these.

I always get the worst feeling in my stomach when I see any of those lights come on in my vehicles. Even if it's just the "Check Tire Pressure" light. Car repairs are the worst!

Well my guy called me right after I got to work and told me his mechanic found some more stuff with my engine. He will get with me again tomorrow and give me the rundown. Might wind up getting a new engine outta this. We'll see.
Sideshow put a teaser pic up of another upcoming PF statue. A Lifelike Savage Opress. My buddy texted me a pic and had me drooling. Damn you Sideshow. Will wait and see when this goes up for pre-order. Right now it's a maybe but it would look awesome with Cyborg Maul.

Damn! Sorry man. Hopefully it's nothing more serious, but more preventative maintenance than anything. Crossing my fingers for you buddy.

Yeah, Opress looks awesome! Can't wait until the full reveal!

Thanks Lou. Shouldn't be too bad. Since this will be stuff covered by the warranty I'll have to pay the deductible of 200.00. I should hear from the guy sometime tomorrow. We'll see.

Well my guy at the Chevy Dealer just called me and told me that my lifters need to be replaced. The reason I was getting white smoke out of my tailpipe was because of the bad lifters and it was getting oil into the spark plugs. My warranty covers all this except my 200.00 deductible. I'm a happy camper though since this just saved me a lot of money. He says he should have Vader back to me sometime on Friday.

The wife just texted me a pic of her at work with the SS Mythos Vader. I'm picking it up when I get off work at 2:00. Can't wait to get it setup.
