Does anyone know if the subtitles included are dubtitles?

Thanks for mentioning the fantastic price! I ordered the set, cause at that price the series was a sure blind buy. I have Toshiba 3200KE now with the flashed firmware that makes it multi region. So now I can watch Region A material as well :-).
You're welcome!

BDInfo scans for the entire set

I'm kinda disappointed by the image quality on this one. I skimmed through some episodes and I must say, I did expect it to be sharper and the lines look very pixelated to my eyes. Am I the only one?

Having said this, I don't regret buying this, but I expected it to be better, especially judging from the reviews on this site.

I definitely want to get this series. It looked interesting from what I saw of it and would LOVE to see more! When I purchase it I am going to get the Complete Series Blu-ray. It may be $32 but it cost more to buy them seperately.

Soul Eater has become my favourite anime and I highly recommend you get the complete set. I bought it when it was just 21 US-Dollars and love it. It is a fantastic series with great action, characters and story.

The series starts out great for the first 20 episodes or so. The latter half of the series has its problems, as the story gets dragged out to fill time. It's still a very good show even with those problems, but I can't really say the conclusion is fully satisfying.

So is the latter half of the series simply filler? Not that I'm complaining or anything because I'm not. Some filler can actually help move a story a long, even create character developmenet that perhaps wasn't there originally.

No, they needlessly stretch out the plot. Its second season (episodes 27-51) is the main problem, as I think the show actually got ahead of the manga and had to come up with their own ending. It's still watchable but most consider the first season far superior.

Oh, okay I understand now. Thank you for explaining it to me.
