It seems any hi tech solution is out of fashion. We have 4k which will probably flop, 3d has flopped, youngsters are watching epic films on a 4 inch smartphone. Film and specifically the art of film, is wasted on the current generation. In fact I fear the worst for home cinema. TV sales are shrinking and soon there will be very little choice. I hate what this generation of youngsters represents. Lack of appreciation for quality in music, picture quality and pretty much quality in general. As well as a want it all for free attitude. Makes me sick. What makes it worse is many home cinema enthusiasts can't see the problem and think that smartphones and tablets are a nice extra for watching movies when in fact they will pretty much dominate the future. The trend with teenagers is watching online on smartphones, laptops and tablets. That is only going to increase in the future.
Bragging about how many illegal movies and songs they "own" too, mother%^&*#$!!!
