Default Does Par care about Blu-ray catalog at all?

I've been waiting for BHC II, but a Blu-ray is not listed at Paramount Home Video.

Then I searched for Cop I and there's no Blu there either.
Last bought: WALL-E SteelBook (China), Fright Night autographed (to trade)
Biggest wants:Monolith Monsters (Germany), Italian Job (Nordic), The Cell (Canada) slipcover - see my collection for trades
Biggest wishes: Breakdown, The Hitcher (1986)

III didn't hold up as well as it could've, but it's still good to where it has replay value. Also...Metro is another great underrated Eddie Murphy action film that needs a blu release.
I'm expecting a 1-4 set eventually. I'll just wait for that.

it's mentioned in the first sentence that a "great new bluray release" is expected next month. A new remaster? the sequels getting a US release?
Hopefully it will get announced soon.....
Probably a triple feature with BHC 1-3.

Hmmm, that doesn't make any sense. If it's indeed supposed to come out next month, we would know by now via press release or something.

Does anyone else have a problem with Foley in the 3rd one?

He is more serious and mature in BHC III which I get because as time goes by generally we are all the wiser, however he seemed more like a superhero and he lacked the street smarts, wit and charm that he had in BHC and BHC II.

It didn't seem like the natural progression of character development from the first 2 movies, it seemed more like Murphy was playing a similar but different character all together.

Get the damn blu-ray, THEN judge. How many times do you have to be proven wrong on screencaps? Have one of you seen this film in 35mm? If not, how young ARE you people? And if you have seen it in 35mm then when you see the blu-ray you will see that it's a pretty accurate representation of those prints.
THANK YOU!...Damn!!...lol...it looks great! Saw it back in 1984. I have a photographic memory, too

I actually ordered BHC2 when I ordered my Disney 3d b1g1 last week. I got tired of waiting for a US release. Can't wait to watch, its one of my all time favorites.

They weren't?

Oh, I just checked... they were not. Thanks for the correction. I guess Paramount is just waiting for the right time then.

The TV series was canceled, I think the movie is still on the "someday, maybe" pile.

it looks like their filming this year. On June 27, 2014, in an interview with Rolling Stone, Murphy discussed returning to the edgier type character of Axel Foley after years of making family friendly films. "I haven't done a street guy, working class, blue-collar character in ages so maybe it's like, 'Oh, wow, I didn't remember he was able to do that'" Murphy said. According to studio reports on the film's plot, Foley will return to Detroit after leaving his job in Beverly Hills and he will be faced with the coldest winter on record to navigate the new rules and old enemies of one of America's most tenacious cities. The state of Michigan approved $13.5 million in film incentives, based on an estimated $56.6 million of filmmaker spending in the state. The film will be shot in and around Detroit and is estimated to provide jobs for 352 workers. The studio is targeting a March 2016 release date for the film
