I've seen a few this month go for under £30 but missing the backing card, I'm still waiting for a mint one with the card for £30

You have this wrong.

Paramount had a distribution deal with Marvel Studios and as part of the Marvel buyout by Disney, Paramount requested that they still kept their (I think 8%) distribution fee for the remaining movies that they were contracted for (The Avengers and Iron Man 3) even though they would/will not have any further part of the distribution. This deal also included their name being in the credits and on any promotional materials for those two movies.

We had a Steelbook release for The Avengers in the UK and that was produced and distributed solely by Disney. There's a very good chance we'll get a Steelbook release for any further movies.

I have one copy of the hmv version (think it was 3d) as I sold my spare few months ago - what is a fair price for this forum sales section? not ebay.

I bought two copies recently OCD mint, one with j-card, both poly-bagged for just under 75GBP for both.

I picked up this one on release and watched it once and then sealed away with the insert and J-card as well. I cannot see myself going back to it, I did use the code to download (has expired anyway) the film but that's it after the initial viewing.

Seems there are a few steelbook collectors who could probably offer it a better home?
