Avatar is worth a watch...but I could not even stomach a complete second viewing. The Abyss isn't in the top tier of Cameron's films, but it's got a lot of cool things in it that make it worth owning and watching more than once.

I still believe that Aliens is the best of his career so far. It's everything an action/sci-fi film should be.
