This would look better if the bit rate wasn't just barely higher than that of a DVD.

I asked for the slip to be signed - which he was kind enough to do... but he signed the plastic, too. So I've got one autograph on top of the other.

He didn't oblige me a "You're my favorite customer", though. I'm also a little annoyed that the talking bobblehead arrived in three pieces (the feet came unglued from the base, and a chunk of his hair broke off).

3rd screen into the showing and The Room on bluray doesn't disappoint...I love films with lots of "sexualality"...

Tommy spells the way he pronounces words. He's gotta be doing this on purpose.
What film do you think should be on Criterion blu-ray?

In a "so bad it's good" type of mood lately, should I blind buy this? I love Troll 2 and Birdemic, heard so much about this "movie".

Do you guys suggest I check it out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Silent.
My top 5 films of all time!!
1. Psycho (Absolute, complete PERFECTION IMO) 2. Blade Runner (Pure poetry, The greatest sci-fi film ever made IMO) 3. Halloween '78 (Very close to reaching psycho's greatness IMO, extremely terrifying) 4. Jurassic Park (Spielberg's Best IMO, pure wonder and awe) 5. The Godfather (Stunning film making in every aspect, a true "family" film)

Depending on what edition you're using, the Encyclopedia of So Bad It's Good's cover is the poster for The Room.

Of course watch it! It'd be a darn shame if you didn't.

This thread reminds me I need to order this movie from his website one of these days... Want to figure out something good to ask him to write on it... Think I too will opt for the shirt, blu, and bag combo

I say definitely. I was introduced to this movie because Adult Swim used to play it for April Fools Day. One thing I'd say for a heads up for is that the first 30 minutes or so is pretty much sex scene after sex scene.

I had read stuff here and there about it, but it was the Nostalgia Critic review that finally got me to rent it via Netflix. My girlfriend at the time, my best friend and her neighbor all watched it as soon as it came in and we had a blast...

EDIT: And after putting it off for a while, I finally went ahead and ordered the "Holiday Pack", with the T-shirt and bag.

I was actually going to post a link to the Nostalgia Critic's review of it, but didn't think anyone would get the reference.

Is it sad that this is one of my favorite Blu-Rays in my collection?

Oh believe me, if you enjoyed Birdemic and Troll 2 you'll love this one. Definitely a "so bad it's good" type of film.

Really?! Thanks for the head-up, how graphic are they? Definitely wasn't expecting that.

I saw that review as well. Honestly, I think it's his funniest.

You'll definitely end up seeing boob shots. But if my memory is correct, you won't see any genitals. You will see Tommy Wiseau's pasty white ass though.
