BTW, the price has gone up about $7 since I ordered Tomb Raider from Warehouse deals, but to give people an idea of what they might be shipping: My copy arrived today. While I haven't confirmed the codes for the dlc skins and registration (the later I assume to be for multi-player) haven't been redeemed yet, the case, manual and inserts look pristine, as if they've been handled with kids gloves or barely handled at all; the disc doesn't have even the slightest of marks on it, like the loading mechanism in PS3's always leave. Just looking at it, the disc appears as if it's never been played, or even removed from the case. Also included was a slipcover of sorts with a hardcover production-art book inside, in addition to the regular PS3 game case. I'm assuming this must be the exclusive, amazon advertised for preorders. I didn't expect that. Good deal for 27.84 - great deal if the codes proves to still be valid.

If I had to take a guess I'd say the shrink wrap was ripped off at some point in the warehouse and they just sent it straight to their warehouse deals pile.
Marty: Statistical fact: Cops will never pull over a man with a huge bong in his car. Why? They fear this man. They know he sees further than they and he will bind them with ancient logics.

I think it was a little more than that, as the book shipped outside of the slipcover - even though there was clearly a slot inside made just for it - and had some wear that wasn't reflected by the game disc and case, and the slipcover itself looks even more worn. I'm thinking that maybe they pooled parts from multiple damaged or degrees of used returns to make a complete set they could resell as like-new.

So last week there were a couple of online deals for the PC version

Origin was selling it for $24.99 with the Survivor Edition for 27.99
GreenManGaming was selling it for $20.01

At the same time, you could get the PS3 version on PSN for $29.99

This weekend there is some more deals on the PC version

Steam is selling it for $24.99 with the Survivor Edition for 27.99
Amazon is selling it for $24.99

It seems to me that Square Enix initiated some kind of 50% off thing all around

Fry's has it on sale this week for $30 for those still interested on picking up a copy. There are other games on sale as well for their Aniverrsary sale but this was the only one I remembered.
