Did they take the entire dolphin tank scene out, or just the scene where he is speaking dolphin? Why would they even do that? It was one funny scene, and still has me put off on buying this set.

Does this have the 'moshing scene' in the nightclub with Ace onstage with the band? That was cut from a few releases except for the VHS, I believe...

Maybe cut from TV, it was always on the DVD.

Also, yes, it is on the Blu-Ray

****
edit, it would help if I read the whole thing....
No, I've never seen that scene...
It might be a TV edit...
It is NOT on the BD. Nor was it on the DVD.

No directors cuts please.. I think the dumb and Dumber directors cut is awful. It ruined the movie IMO.
Movies that need to go Blu. The Ref, Open Range, Life As A House, Great Outdoors, True Lies, Joe Dirt, Maximum Overdrive, Pool Hall Junkies, Brain Candy, Wildcats.

T.V. shows that need to go Blu Man Vs. Wild, Survivor Man, Dirty Jobs, NHL Winter Classic 2009.

Are you guys serious? ??!!

How that hell did they leave out the Dolphin Trainer sequence?? Is it like the whole scene were Ace jumps into the empty pool and even does an impersonation of Captain Kirk.
What was his name as the trainer? HEINSKITS Velvet?

That scene wasn't part of the theatrical version of the movie. They included it on the VHS and original DVD of the film. (I also wish they had left it in, though).

I loved this part on vhs as a kid. Sucks that the blu version doesn't have this scene.

No!
The kirk scene is still there, the part where he comes out of the tank and talks to the reporters is not in it.

Don't worry. I'm sure they'll include it on the third or fourth re-release blu.

Will it get another release?
Or will the next time we see it be on 4k? ported over from the DVD, as this didn't get a remaster?

I couldn't agree more. The Blu ray is awful. I still have to pop in the dvd when I want to watch it.

I think "ruined the movie" is a little harsh but I do really wish New Line would put out a new remastered Blu-ray when the sequel hits home video.

I was talking about Dumb and Dumber; the sequel to that film was produced by a different studio and they won't be bundled together.
