My brother-in-law just bought a 3-D TV, but he doesn't have a 3D capable Blu-Ray player. I've got a 3D Blu player (a PS3), but not a 3D TV. So, luck would have it, I'm baby sitting for him tomorrow, so I'm bringing my PS3 over, and all these 3D Blus I've been snapping up in case they went out of print. Going to be a hot 3D time at the in-laws' house tomorrow night.
My 3D Blus (which I've never seen on a 3D TV): Titanic The Avengers Tron Legacy The Adventures of Tintin John Carter The Lion King Beauty and the Beast Tangled Toy Story Toy Story II Toy Story III Cars 2 Brave Sweet. Last edited by Ernest Rister; 12-08-2012 at 03:12 AM. |

Oh, so it's a Passive set. Still, should be fun.
(And even though you haven't been down in the Haterz mosh-pits, you'll find Blu 3D won't bite. All that bonus-disk stocking-up is about to pay off. I recommend getting him one of those local restaurant coupon books for Christmas, let him get out of the house more often... Quote:

Holy Frijoles.
We started with "The Circle of Life", cause my nephew loves THE LION KING. I was in love with the tech just from the menu screen. I didn't monkey with the TV, cause it wasn't mine, but I'm pretty sure they had some sort of hyper-frame rate "cinemotion" setting enabled, causing very unusual frame-smoothing, which I'm not used to in animated films, especially films I'm very familiar with. That was my only gripe. Otherwise, we had a blast, and films looked better than I thought they could. The quote of the night seems to be, "Look at the whiskers!" |

As long as I think that's general policy for the sets, no gripe of mine. |
