No they are not the worst. That distinction goes to 9 Covers.
Why do studios continue to re-release films on BD when so many catalog titles still are not released?
Wants on BD: La Dolce Vita and La Strada (Criterion), Somewhere in Time, Time After Time, Hooper, King Kong (1976), Urban Cowboy, Murder By Death and The Burbs

I couldn't sleep so I got bored and made a minimalist poster for The Legend of Korra. Just seeking some constructive criticism since this is maybe the 4th or so poster I've made and I figured this would be the best place to go. I'm considering getting a society6 account and seeing if people are interested in my minimalist posters. Anyways done with my rambling, here's the poster (based off of concept art from the show):

I'd suggest adding some shading to the face. Might help add some shape and depth to it. Other than that, I quite like what you've got already!
I buy Disney DVDs and Blu-Ray, message me if you're selling! :)

Default Still looking for

covers for All The President's Men, An Affair to Remember, and The Lion King. I also wouldn't mind covers/slips for Spider-man 1 and 2 since I'll have to redo those eventually too. I'm posting again because of the database loss and I've been out of town for a couple of weeks so trying to get back on this project. :-)

I know the movies aren't connected, but i though the blue style fit with the artwork for SM2 as well.

Sony should of hired you to make the art for the re-releases of 1, 2 & 3. Yours are golden!

Default Super BD custom

Just finished this earlier today. Many props go out to Nissen for his Arrow inspired versions.

Here's my version...

100 Blus as of 04/01/11 - "The Walking Dead : The Complete First Season"

An interesting news article here which may inspire some of you designers:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...magazines.html

An artist who is redesigning movies to look like old pulp books. The Alien one is very good.

There's a link to his blog in the article.

Excellent read.

I've been doing something similar for a Spider-man commission recently. (Rough drafts only)

Those look pretty sweet Nissen, are you doing a whole marvel set or is it just for the Spidey trilogy?

I'm only commissioned for Spider-man at the moment. Who knows?

Default James Bond 007 Custom Blu-ray Cover

Thunderball finished. This poster was a nightmare to fit. It's interesting to see that everyone does it differently.

Again, these are paid commissions I am not at liberty to share. Sorry.

It's almost painful to look at these because they look so good and I want them on my shelf so badly!

Maybe we need to start a group funding website to get Nissen to do customs for the Bond set!!
