Toy Story 1 and 2, 3-D Blu-ray

Does anybody know if they plan to release Toy Story 1 and 2 on Blu Ray in
3-D after there theatrical debut later next year?

Wouldn't matter as the 3D we get on home versions sucks. I hate those glasses. After watching Polar Express 3D blu-ray my wife and I had massive headaches.

I don't understand why so many people get headaches from the 3D Blu's. I have astigmatisms and I've watched My Bloody Valentine twice with no problems. Personally I thought the picture was pretty damn good with very little ghosting and pinkish hue in just a few scenes. The 3D effects were incredible considering it was home viewing on a 42" LCD. Maybe those who are having problem aren't watching with all the lights out. Total darkness is where the 3D effects seem to work best.

My problem with Polar Express in 3-D wasn't because of the 3-D, but because even with the glasses on I could still see where the red lines separated with the actual picture. The 3-D wasn't done very well, in my opinion. Hurt my eyes, cause it didn't look like they did a very good job making it 3-D.

Exactly. They totally fubard this release. By the way, Yes we watch with no lights on so that isn't the problem.

Ok. Well, I'll have to take your word for Polar Express. I haven't seen the 3D version and since I'm not that big of a fan of the movie anyway I probably won't. I do hope that Dreamworks gives Monster vs Aliens the same 3D respect that Lionsgate gave MBV. I know it won't look near as good as the theater but then I think it would be really hard to compared to screen size.

They come out in 2010, which is supposedly when the 3D standard will hit the market. I know at least the first film will get a 3D blu release. Not sure about TS2.

Everyone's eyes are different. I would guess that those who are younger and have good eyesight probably don't have as much side effects from this whereas those who have eyesight issues and are a little older are likely affected more. I'm just over 40 and I have to wear reading glasses now and I used to have perfect eyesight. 3D definitely caused eye strain and headaches for me (at least during the first 15 minutes of viewing).

Unfortunately our bodies change as we age. Enjoy it while you can. I mean, I used to ride roller coasters and loved it and now that I've just hit over 40 they make my head spin (which never used to happen).
