Probably go against Child Labor Laws. She isn't ready for faster cars yet. Put her in the Gallardo, lol, that was funny. Fastest thing she drove was a truck, but it was tuned to 550 pp.

She plays Blur alot, and was beating me at it yesterday, lol. Couple of weeks ago, I let her drive the Mustang you win that has the lipstick on it you can win and she was yelling at the CPU driven cars in her way. My wife said the game is teaching her road rage, lol.

Do you happen to have any settings that make the X2010 easier to drive with a steering wheel? I really want to try to get silver or gold on Vettel (sp?) challenge but the "warble" with that car drives me crazy, not to mention my hands and wrists are hurting after a lap or so from holding the wheel so tight.

I dont think you can set up the car for that challenge.

Go into the wheel settings and turn the force feedback as low as it will go. You still have the wobble but it makes it easier to drive. It took me a while to get used to it as well.

Actually with low force feedback just seems like its more difficult to drive. Its more unrealistic, wobbles a lot almost has no feedback or force doesnt feel real i left it on 5 with steering help on. The lambos would spin out as soon as you hit the brake and turn now i can break into the corner without spinning out. took me a couple hrs to set it up right. Anyone want the settings let me know.

THe thing i found out about the wheel is its going to straighten itsself out like a real car so after you turn let the steering wheel get back straight without doing it yourself or fighting back, usually does it on its own. Takes time to get used to but its fun as hell.

Yea, low feedback doesnt work for other cars but for the X2010 it works great.

Haha i just got the thing like a week ago still trying to get used to it, not gonna even attempt to try it X2010 yet. I know for some reason the wheel is horrible with rally but probably gotta get used to that too.

I've never had a problem with the wheel and rally events. Traction control off and power split 50/50 for 4wd cars and you're good to go. For the special events I found the rally challenges the easiest to get gold.

Traction control off and Brake (Whatever) setting to Zero so that you can set your car into a drift.

Your best bet is probably try a couple of practice runs on the tracks associated with the Vettel challenges to get a feel for each track and where to turn/brake. I'm doing the Suzuka 1000 Endurance right now with the Vettel X2010 (at about lap 112 of 172 as I'm typing this), and its given me lots of tips on where I need improvement so that I can tackle it in the challenge. I'm averaging about 1m10 with the wheel so I'm hoping to at least bronze or silver the Suzuka challenge when I get to it.

I just did that race last night, only I think I screwed myself up. I used the X1 prototype and my fastest lap was 1'07. Tried the suzuka challenge today and the regular x2010 drives a lot different from the prototype. I was able to go through the S's without braking and I found out really quick you cant do that in the regular.

Hmmm...thanks for the info Rblu. Will have to go at it again and see. I was doing pretty much most of GT5 with the DS3 and only started using my old Logitech Driving Force Wireless (ugh, what I wouldn't do for a DFGT) when I started using the Vettel X2010 for the Endurances and the Vettel challenges. Color me informed

Thanks, that helps quite a bit. Before I was barely beating the time for the bronze but after the change, I'm now just around 1.5 seconds off the time for the silver (on the 2nd track that is). I tried it several times but just couldn't quite get it but at least there is hope now.

You're right. I keep forgetting that you don't get to change those settings in the special events.
