If anyone is interested you are able to use the Ferrari F2007 and F10 in the new Seasonals. You have to dumb them down a lot and it makes it a one make race. Still sweet though.

Try the Ferrari F10 and you won't be laughing. It's a one make race where you are limited to 750PP. The rest of the field is stock close to 900PP. I just managed an 8th place down by 11.2sec. That's only about 2 sec per lap. I believe it can be done.

I'm talking about the new Seasonal Events. Try the Ferrari F2007 or F10 for a super hard challenge.

The better question is how sweet is this car. The answer is VERY! It's the only Super GT car I use. It's also what I used to win the Expert B-spec race in teh seasonals.

Same here, and it won by quite a margin. With the expert b-spec races you definitely have to keep an eye on the drivers and not let them do their own thing. Don't like it when the pit-in indicator automatically comes on, I'll change the tyres when I want to thank you very much, don't care what the weather is doing

It took 2 attempts to win the Le Mans race, the car I picked the first time wasn't fast enough so for the second race I just used the same car as won the first. Won by a mile

SCEA make GT5XL official - Jan. 17, $40 as previously mentioned. Doesn't mention the voucher including future dlc though, but does say keep an eye on the blog for more DLC to come.

Still waiting on some incredible DLC. Look at the competition, 1 or 2 high performance street cars or racers all the way down to economy cars from the 70s. That's exactly what I'd like to see for GT5, something for everyone. And a patch for multi-class racing.

Let me ask a question to those who might now.

I bought this game at launch and traded it in after about a month. Playing the game seemed so tedious and boring. The graphics are nice and the handling of the cars was good but to me it was sort of a chore to get through the menus and challenges in the game.

Now my question to you is this, with all of the updates, patches, DLC, etc. Has Polyphony actually IMPROVED the gameplay experience with this game or have they basically just been piling on content? If I didn't care for it back at launch, have there been any changes that might cause me to re purchase the game and like it better? Or is it one of those deals where if I didn't care for it then, I probably wouldn't care for it now?

In my opinion the basic gameplay is still the same, I don't think there is any reason to think you would enjoy it more now than before.

Have they improved the AI? What about menu layout/navigation? Have they done anything to enrich arcade mode (for those of us who don't care about career mode)? It just felt sooooo tedious going through all the challenges and earning the liscenses. Do you still have to "unlock" damage by reaching a certain level?

The best improvement to me is not having to go back to the main menu after every race.
