I used to have Sekirei Season 1 on DVD until I heard about this combo pack version. Kind of weird that it's 1 of those Blu-ray case in DVD size packaging considering the 2nd season was done in those DVD cases since I thought they cared about consistency.

Oh and that's one heck of a deal you got. Plus that sticker is hilarious. Even the normal price is pretty good considering that the regular DVD version cost more.

Like John said, if you keep slip on, it'll fit just fine. And yeah, I get all these sets with most store credit, so I pay dirt cheap out of pocket; love my job! It depends by sets, but our Anime is never the "MSRP" of like $69+, or whatever it is most of the time. Usually they're from that to like $47.99 for most LE sets.

Has anyone else noticed that the recent LE releases by FUNimation haven't also come out in a regular version? I'd like to think that when I pay a premium price to have a release on day 1 because of its LE status like Black Butler S2 or Okami-San & Her Seven Companions that I'm actually getting something that will not be available 6 months down the line in a sale.

Received my Black Butlers & Okami-san. The top right corner of Black Butler Season 1 is smashed in and I am assuming this is because the slipcover is DVD sized and the case is blu-ray size. Without opening it, can someone tell me if the coverart on the blu-ray case is the same as the slipcover? If so, I might just throw the slipcover away and put the case in the Season 2 box...

Yes it's the same. I actually cut down the top of the slip to make a blu sized slip cover on mine.

Fate / Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is now showing in both Top deals and Price drops.

Looks like your prediction turned out to be correct after all. They just announced that they have Kids on the Slope just a few moments ago.

Sentai also announced Clannad ~After Story~ for Blu-ray in July!

I never doubted them for a second,Its nice when you hear rumours and they turn out to be fact.

I still believe 5cm per second will be rescued by Sentai if its at all possible sometime this year.

Future Diary, oh man! I just started reading the manga and love the first volume. They're REALLY hard to come across for a good price-- I was REALLY lucky and got first volume for $2 at Barnes and Noble clearance, and I see it going now from like $100!!

I tweeted them asking about a Blu-ray release, so we'll see!

SO EXCITED. I was hoping they'd get the game cast back for the dub, and although there's some things in the anime I don't like compared to the game, this will be a day one purchase for me to support them. Totally makes up for the disappointment of the Vesperia dub not having most of the game voices.
