It's based on the date of order, so it doesn't look like tax gets added to orders and preorders placed prior to July 1, thank goodness.

Baccano getting a 'budget' release? Sign me up.

Anyone got an opinion on Towanoquon? Just saw its a new release from Sentai and the cover art caught my attention. But the premises sounds kinda typical. But its animated by Bones, sooooooooooo?

I just finished Towanoquon today and you are correct its just okay. The last fifteen minutes of the series is when it gets really good. I did expect more coming from Bones and I really like X'amd even if the series comes to a halt in the middle but I can not recommend Towanoquon...

I should also mention Towanoquon's animation is top notch but the story I felt was lacking in anything new.

Yeah, a man can hope. Would be good if they don't take a whole freaking year like last time.

Thanks so much! While this has not happened in MD(YET), I fear it will someday soon and just wanted to know how it would affect my preorders...assuming I have preorders at that time.
Thanks again!

Will never happen we'll be waiting at least over a year after the Japanese theatrical release.

VIZ Media has just announced at Anime Expo that Inuyasha The Final Act Set 1 is coming to Blu-ray and DVD in November. Plus this new Neon Alley seems interesting.

I'll definitely buy Inuyasha on BD! I already have the Nausicaa box set and Jiujiu V1 preordered. I might get some of the other manga too.

Considering that they'll probably be making a bunch of revisions and stuff to make it 3.33, I think we'll be waiting a long time even for the JP release.

Took long enough. I remember seeing some of the the show years ago and thinking how abnormally good the animation was.

Well the good news about Eva 3.0 is that 4.0 isn't supposed to be that far behind.
