PS3 and Underworld Rise Of The Lycans problem - Blu-ray Forum

I have just received my copy of Underworld Rise Of The Lycans, and tonight I played it on my PS3. At around the 35:25 mark it froze and jumped to around 36:50. I was able to rewind slowly to 35:30 and watch from there, but it was a pain in the arse. Any other PS3 owners having the same problem? I'm on the very latest firmware update.

I have the 60GB model and the UW: ROTL plays fine all the way through.

I have an 80GB and it played fine, but I've had that problem on a few rental discs (that weren't scratched), most recently Big.

I have the UK version of it and an Aussie PS3, and no problems.

I have a 60 Gb and it played fine for me as well. Maybe a dirty disc or something?

Brand new disc, only received Friday lunchtime. Even gave it a clean to make sure. Its the same spot every time.

Just try exchanging it for another copy from where you bought it from and test out that same scene

Its obviously a faulty disc. Bring it back and twat the sales assistant around the face with the packaging and demand a new copy.

I have the 20 gig and it worked like a top for me, thinking you got a bad copy

40 gig ps3 here and no problems with ROTL or any other title for that matter.

I'm assuming all the "I had no problems with the movie and my PS3" aren't helping the guy very much.

In saying that, I had no problems watching it on my PS3
