Germany Halloween Rob Zombie Theatrical Version?

I found this on the Amazon Germany and wondered is it the Theatrical Version or Directors Cut.

http://www.amazon.de/Halloween-DVD-B...4899170&sr=1-1

I am basically looking for RZ Halloween Theatrical Edition on blu-ray.

Thanks for the info. Could you let us know if everything on the disc is region-free and if it contains English Audio & Subs? Lastly.. how easy is it to navigate around menu's? Thanks, I'm really looking to get this one asap.

I own it, too, but as a PS3 owner, I can only confirm that the bonus features are in PAL format, so they won't play for you in the U.S. on that system. I don't recall about the subs (I'm not at home now) except to say that there are two instances where forced German subtitles pop up for a few short seconds to indicate a location (like "Smith's Grove Sanitarium"); otherwise, no forced subs. A master audio English track is present. I have no regrets about the purchase--looks great, sounds great, the two very momentary forced German subs are my only slight inconvenience.

This German BD is the only theatrical version of Halloween found on Blu-ray in the world.

Thanks for the info guys! Don't mind the extras being in PAL, but the forced subs may be a deal breaker for me....

Yeah.. I can wait for an eventual release that doesn't have the burned in subs. Things like that just bug me...

BTW... does anyone know if the forced German subs are actually a subtitle stream or if it's "burned" into the movie?

Subtitle stream, but I know of no way to disable it when you've selected the English audio track.

I have a BD burner. If I buy this disc, I can strip that sub out and burn it back to a BD-R. How are the menu's? Easy to navigate?

Exceedingly easy, yes. Just four or five options in a column, all in German language--just click on 'em and see where they take you.

There's a Japanese release that has the theatrical cut.
