T2 LE Skull Edition, How Limited? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi! to all,

Do any of you know how limited the recently released T2 "6 Disc" LE skull edition is likely to be?

I've noticed it already seems to be in and out of stock all the time on Amazon, and other sites like DVDEmpire don't even have it in stock and they say it's "On Order"

I remember the LE "briefcase" version of Blade-Runner seemed to go OOP pretty quick, do you think this will be the case with the T2 LE skull or will it be around for ages?

Its already sold out here in the UK, I ordered the US edition which turned up today. It looks great.

Just checked out your pictures, looks great!

But your certainly being brave leaving the discs sealed, I could not do that myself as I'd be worried that either 1) There might be discs missing or the wrong discs in the set & 2) The discs might be marked/scratched or something, I know this should not be the case but personally I'd just have to check them out, the first thing I always do when buying Blu-ray's DVD's or Games is to have a good check over the condition of the disc.

Anyway, glad your happy with the set.

Tell me about it, in an agreement with the significant other i had to give up a month without purchasing any other blu so i could get it....oh yeah i have pics of it in my gallery...

saw 2 in my BB. Think it is still limited. Just with the price tag and the economy i think most people just are not buying it.

the SD dvd's they add in there as filler is just disgusting..

sd dvd's???....thats the new vcr format IMO

I felt exactly the same as you guys with the Alien and Sony head trying to justify spending X amount of cash on an ormament. But when you miss the boat and then see the same items on ebay for tripple the price you just end up kicking your self.

Tempted.....real tempted to import the German one due to the fact that it only contains one DVD in addition to the Blu. I don't need all 6.

There are ways of getting it cheap. I only paid $13 for mine. I went to F.Y.E. and traded a bunch of movies that I had extras of I only traded like 6 and got in store credit and I only needed to pay $13 for the set.

It was only available in the uk from from online store play.com and the uk version only comes with the blu-ray disc not the dvds or digital copy.I managed to get mine for £68.99 before they changed it to £79.99

Not to argue with you or anyone else, I just think of the "limited" as...it's probably 100,000 of the things made, if not more. If it were like 1 of 100, well, sure...that's LIMITED.
