Default Bad copy of The Good the Bad and the Ugly?

At around the 1:30 minute mark, just as Blondie and Tuco are leaving the monestary, i notice a bunch of yellow stains that almost take over the entire picture for about 3 seconds. Does anyone elses copy have this? None of the reviews i've read mention this.

A bit presumptuous of you to assume it's not an ugly copy.

LMAO- well played sir! For a minute, I was like, "Whaaaaaaaaaaa?" On topic, I haven't seen the BD copy, but my DVD copy certainly doesn't do this. I can't imagine a remaster would bring in more problems like that.

Sounds like a disc error since no reviews mention it. That's the sort of thing some reviewers would pounce on in a second.

Yeah, it's really bad, like the film is half burned or someone spilled mustard on it. Really, really obvious.

Its a print flaw. The scene in question is one of the deleted scenes they restored back into the movie.

I noticed it on the blu AND the 2 disc SDVD SE.

No worries.

I also noticed a pretty big chunk of dirt at the bottom of the frame early in the film that you would think could have been removed. Not a big deal it just makes it that much more of a theater experience. Overall the disc looks very good.

I am not worried. I would rather have the mucked up deleted scenes back in the film than have a perfectly restored cut version.

TGTBTU is probably the all time most abused movie. I once saw it on television with the reels shuffled. The first and last reel were in place, interesting experience.

Several people have mentioned this in the past. I don't have the movie, but remember people talking about it.
"Does the Blu-ray version of '.......' look better than it's DVD version?"

I'm so sick of this question. 99% of Blu-rays look better than their DVD counterpart. Period.

It's there but not too distracting. Overall, the movie looks pretty good.

No, people have said it's on every disc. Mine plays fine, it's just right before they're captured by the union army there's a yellow stain. No biggee.

It's there, no doubt. Somebody posting that their copy does not have this has to be color blind. Another defect: in the audio track, at times the dialog comes from either the left or right tower speaker and not from the center. Great movie!

It is there, yellow smears all over the place. Chapter 19 Prisoners of War. Looks at the map and then up then Bamm! The most distracting part isn't that, it is the dub of the new voices, even though it's their voices, after 25 years they have changed a bit, especially Eastwood's.

Also some nice yellow lines at 1:30:58.

Not crazy about it. But still love the movie and it is better than the DVD I had. If they do decide to remaster it and re-release it, I'll but it. Love this movie.

They'd better, because the movie looks horrible on the BD.
Blu-ray releases should be perfect representations of their cinema counterparts.
