What is the uncut version like? Is there much of a difference?

There is approx. 20 seconds of additional added footage to the key bed-scene with Bale, his old friend and the prostitute blonde. Nothing spectacular, but I have never watched the rated version, so can not exactly appreciate the added material.

the uncut version is slightly more graphic, but i think this is one case where the extra violence actually adds to the movie.

Yeah, they went waaay to far in that cut.

Wow!!! The cheepest I have seen it for is €25, about $37

I want to get the Austrailian edition as I'm led to believe it's much better PQ and also that it will play on my region B player.

That is 10 dollars too much. This movie is right there with Boondock Saints as an overhyped cult classic that is a terrible movie. But if you do like then 10 bucks is a great deal.

to put thing in context; you're the guy who wanted to see "An American Werewolf in Paris" in blu and didn't care for "American Werewolf In London", right?

So? I just dont get American Psycho. It has no action, comedy, or excitement. There is not a single likeable character. There is no one to root for and no real point to it. I really like Christian Bale too but this movie was just pointless.

Not all films have those aspects to them, and really don't need them.

Hmm let's see..... it follows a maniacal serial killer who happens to be a successful V.P. during the day, and he balances out the two, and it shows the struggles caused by that.

Despite his actions, he's clearly the protagonist..... this isn't really a "Deep" movie.... I don't know why you find it so pointless, it's a man-vs.-self struggle.....

Found the problem

I don't really care for the film, not sure why though, because Bale did a great job, and I love the way the film talks about society. So for some odd reason, I like what the film is about and the lead character's performance....but not the actual film.
