I love this movie. I can't wait to see it in HD. Though their style of making the characters have changed so I wonder how it would look on HD.

I remember seeing this in theaters for the first time in 99 with my friend and two of my cousins. I had never ever seen anything South Park related prior to this. The first 10 minutes or so, eh. Then once Terrence & Phillip break out into their musical piece....I swear to Xenu, I dont remember ever, EVER laughing that hard in my life up to that point. My friend literally was holding on to my arm gasping for air he was cracking up so much. Then at the very end when Phillip quickly blurts out "Suck my balls!"....for no reason!.....that was it. Icing on the cake.

i liked it the first 2 times I saw it, but after that it wasn't funny anymore, and this is coming from a hardcore SP fan going back to Aug 13. 1997

Same here. I'll still buy it, though.
The series has gotten pretty stupid since Season 9, it's more "Family Guy" than "South Park" now. Seasons 4 - 7 were it's best.

I too laughed my frickin ass off on day 1 when this came out. In Canada, there was an appeal from having it rated R (equivalent then to US NC-17), to making it PA (under 15 needs parental accompaniment). Being 15 at the time, I was sooo happy to be able to see it!

Anyways, glad to see this release has a music video & commentary.

I remember seeing this when I was 14, I had my aunt and uncle take me and they enjoyed it, but we laughed even more when some parents would drag their kids out halfway through the movie.

I still think this movie's hilarious, although I haven't seen it in a while. Since it was animated on computers, it should look way better than the original dvd too.
But I guess there is no chance the original cut (rated NC-17) is going to be released?

I think Trey and Matt are more concerned about counting their money anymore... The show has not been that great the last few years. It's time to deep six it.

Ahh thats nothing lol, I thought you meant an actual alternate cut since this movie was never branded NC-17 by the MPAA before being released.
