I a huge fan of Nightmare on Elmstreet but what is so special about this that makes it so expensive?

It's an import, but trust me a dometic blu from New Line will be released,eventually!

It shouldn't be that expensive being a CA import, looks like playusa and amazon.ca have been out of stock so people are selling it with jacked up prices.

Canada is region A so yes, and any region free imports will play most of the time.

I have an extra copy.. I orded 2 from them a couple of motnhs ago.. The P@Q is 4.5....Its really good on the Picture

The remake is currently filming, and is set to be released on April 16, 2010, so that is when you can expect a release.

I hope that they release a box set comparable to the one released on DVD. It's a great set, despite that it comes in the older DVD cases that everyone hates.

I would probably expect about a week or so before hand, I hope they release all 7 of the original together. Maybe with the 3rd remastered it might be half decent 3d.

If you dont want to wait for the american release you cant go wrong with the canadian version, the picture quality is excellent. The one gripe some might have with it is that it has no special features but i definetly think the picture quality makes up for that
