Excellent. I wished it would have come out earlier (in October or something), but I am glad it's a three-disc blu-ray (though I'm sure the third disc is a Digital Copy). Definitely a Day 1 pick up for me!

This is the best news I've heard all day! Star Trek is the absolute first great movie of the year (Watchmen is a close second)! I, too, will know what I'll be doing on November 17! Day...one...purchase!!

Whoa, i read that article and it was pretty cool:

"With the packaging feature dubbed "augmented reality," consumers will be able to hold their disc packaging in front of any standard webcam to unlock an interactive hologram on the computer screen, through which they can tour five cabins on the Enterprise, even shooting enemies from the ship's deck."

I love this movie. One of the best sci-fi films of the last decade. Plus 3 disc set, hopefully there are a lot of good bonus features.

Must buy for me

I know they've split the original ten into two box sets so far, but I've been wondering if they'll release all eleven "Star Trek" movies in one gigantic box set?

Heck, I'm probably going to get the new film separately anyway. It's just way too awesome.

Ugh, this means we'll probably have to wait until 11/17 for the Next Gen BD collection as well.
