This is what the second movie should have been, but Diesel let his little success go to his head. They had to take the story in a different, disastrous direction.

I didn't agree with the review and I am a huge fan of the first movie. This is the first true sequel of the franchise imo. Generally, if you loved the first one like I did, you can't go wrong with this one. I bought the first and fourth one on blu and stayed away from 2 Fast and Tokyo Drift.

I thought this movie was alot better than I was expecting it to be. It's definitely not going to win any awards but it is a fun way to pass a couple of hours.

It was good, I just watched it last night.
Not sure why so many people "hated" Tokyo Drift...guess they're just following the pack. It had a lot of very cool car action. As far as the point of the "Fast and Furious" series goes, it's actually the best of all 4. |

I can't stand Tokyo Drift. The acting is terrible. The plot is terrible. The stunt scenes unrealistic. Just an all-around bad movie in my opinion.

I re watched all three FF movies before watching part 4, and I must say that Drift is the best one followed by Fast and Furious then The Fast and The Furious. 2 Fast 2 Furious is a distant 10th. Drift had a really good story as far as these movies go and the tie in at the end makes me want to see another movie with Sean and Dom in it.
I loved the 1st one when it released but after the years, and watching all three in a row I liked Drift the best but, then again I think I'm the only one on the planet that likes Drift and thats OK. I liked the 4th movie because of the tie in/lead up to the 3rd movie. I also agree this is what 2F2F should have been. The movie was real good but could have done with out the cg gps thing. Loved the cars too, I am a classic Muscle car lover so the 4th one was great in that aspect.

I have to agree about Tokyo Drift. I enjoyed it much more than 2 fast. In fact, so far I own parts 1, 3 and 4 on blu-ray. I'll probably end up getting part 2 eventually I'm sure but it is a far inferrior film to the other 3 I think. Looking forward to a new setting for part 5.

I went into fast & furious with high expectations and thought it was just ok. I also think Tokyo drift was one of the better ones. Which is funny because I thought it was going to be terrible. I caught it on hbo one day and then rented it.
