Unfortuntely, the reason I don't see this happening...

1. If it was Lesnar/Austin. I seriously doubt either one of them would be ok with losing.

2. If it was Lesnar/Taker. Lesnar would probably only do that match, if Vince said he could end the streak. I don't think Taker would agree for 2 reasons....

(A) I may be wrong, but I don't think they like each other in real life.
(B) He would not want someone(who is not an active superstar) to just come in for WM and end the streak, then leave again. Never to be heard from again.

Like Hogan, Lesnar is a businessman. He'll job if the paycheck is high enough.

I'm guessing Brock just wanted some more time off before coming back. Fair enough.

Austin Vs. Lesnar would be nice to get the match that we were supposed to have just to come full circle although I think Rock Vs. Brock II would be the most anticipated rematch in WWE history considering they're both much bigger stars than they were before.

Although I think WM 29 would have a kick ass card of main events if it was:

Quote:
Austin Vs. Punk

Cena Vs. Maivia II (preferably for the WWE Championship this time)

Lesnar Vs. Undertaker

Michaels Vs. Helmsley

as awesome as it would be I just don't know if I'd wanna see Austin or HBK wrestle again for me the fact that they retired and so far have stuck to that and didn't pull the Flair and come back and tarnish their last match legacy I'm cool with that they went out in a good way and if Austin/Rock at WM 19 was Austins curtain call and HBK/Taker at WM 26 was HBKs curtain call I'd say thats OK in my book

This is how I feel also.

Flair had that emotional ending at WM. Then they had an emotional retirement party on Raw the next night.

Then what does Flair do, goes to TNA. Not just to be a manager, but to actually wrestle(a few times).

Man, what a spit to the face to all the WWE fans.

I am wondering what kind of reaction he get at the Hall of Fame.

Don't get me wrong, they were feel good moments at the time, but it didn't help the business long term. I'd be fine with Austin coming back if he put Punk over clean and Michaels doing the job again for an up and comer.

And after pinning Orton and Sheamus back to back at Wrestlemania, Hunter needs to go back to putting over new main event talent as well.

Michaels Vs. Undertaker II was okay. IMO not even close to their masterpiece at Wrestlemania 25. For it being Shawn's "last" match being retired by Undertaker, it didn't sit right with me. It either should've been Hunter or a younger talent to give HBK's career true closer.

With that said, since Wrestlemania 20 has been tarnished, I'm all for one last match HBK Vs. HHH match. After all, that was being teased before HBK wanted one more shot against The Dead Man.

Lesnar/Taker would be solid for a final Taker match AND good to keep the hype for Mania after a year build up of Rock/Cena for this year.

Is Cena vs Rock 2 even a possibility for next year???
If so then all this 'once in a lifetime' crap is complete bull. I'm still not that interested in seeing the Cena/Rock even though I'm a fan of the Rock's

There is no doubt in my mind we will get a Cena/Rock II eventually.

Rock already said that he was participating at WM next year. If not Cena, and WWE can't get Brock or Sting, I wouldn't rule out Rock/Taker.

Of all the above choices.... Rock/Taker would be the one that catches my interest.

If we were going to see Sting, Vince would have to completely knuckle under and give him what he wants... He knows what it is, and it's the same thing that's kept Sting from coming over. Rumors say one thing, but only Sting and Vince really know what's up..

Lesnar? Hmm....Only if he was coming back full-time, and I'd rather Austin go up against Punk. Of all the people who'd catch the most attention from a "one time only" match with Brock...it'd be HHH. Ya...you heard me on that one. It'd be a helluva match and the hype would be nuts.

For HBK...for the love of god, keep your pride and dignity. He said he'd keep his word and stay retired. If it's just one more match....DBD should be his opponent. Ya....you heard me on that one too!

Guys, don't expect Steve Austin to be in any full-fledged matches. His knees and neck are completely shot. Hence, all of his appearances since 2004 have been as a manager/GM/sheriff/special guest.

I would prefer to see Rock VS Taker. I see no purpose in Rock VS Sting..Thats would be so random.
Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find anything.

If I remember correctly, the only time Triple H faced Brock Lesnar in a match, was on tour in Melbourne Australia, it was a triple thread for the undisputed title, which also included The Rock.

It was a decade ago from this coming August, I almost bought tickets to see the event with a few mates, and a plane ticket to get to Melbourne. As much as I would have liked to have seen the match, I'm glad I decided not to go, because that's the night I met my fiancée.

I think back in late 2002 on RAW when Trips was given the world title he talked smack about Brock saying he wasn't even in his league to be on the same show or something..so guess they could use that as I'd be interested in seeing that match too.

WWE sources have confirmed that Christian was pulled from the WrestleMania 28 Team Laurinaitis vs. Team Long match because of issues with his ankle. There was hope that he'd be able to compete with the injury, but the decision to pull Christian from the card was made on Monday.

As for why Alberto Del Rio is not booked for the show, he was originally booked to be a member of Team Laurinaitis, but WWE officials felt the match was "below him" and not fitting for a former WWE champion in line for a big push in the coming months. That said, it's worth noting that former champions Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and The Miz are all in the match.

WWE is planning a dramatic return for Alberto Del Rio after WrestleMania and Randy Orton has been discussed as his next big feud.
It doesn't appear that Ziggler or Miz is moving up the ladder anytime soon. We already know that Swagger is toast.

Rock Vs. Undertaker would be nice, but if anybody needs to feud with Maivia next, it's Orton. I was always more interested in that given it would be the battle of the 3rd Generation Superstars as well as Orton's past of being the Legend Killer.

I agree. Funny enough, that was the original main event for Wrestlemania 21. That's why Hunter and Brock were kept on separate shows to build up for it before Lesnar decided to bounce.

The Angle story, oh its true. It's true! Kurt said it in an interview and WON reports from back then confirmed his claim. Yes, Kurt Angle was telling the truth for a change.

Rock/Orton would have been years ago when Randy had charisma/a personality/addicted to drugs. Rock/Michaels would be a dream come true.
