NINJA TURTLES COLLECTION, Should I Buy it??

So ive been going back and forth on whether i should buy the collection or not. I have come to the conclusion that i will decide with your help. I dont mind the packaging, its actually pretty cool (I think so anyways)

I voted no, but then again, I was never a fan. If you like the movies, then if I were you, I would be picking the set up day one. How's that for a non-answer?

I say no, wait til the price drops(and it will,trust me!) and save some green. I'll bite when this set goes down to about 24.99 or so,it's NOT worth anymore than that!

I vote yes, if you like the movies. I pre-ordered it via wb shop and got a pretty decent deal on it (just checked and it is currently under $48, amazon has it currently for $58).

I can't believe there's even a new thread about purchasing the set, when u can say it on the other. I would buy this if i could, but opted not to buy waiting for more stuff in it ie deleted scenes, extended , bloopers, making of's, even a turtles commentary that could be fun or even funny to hear getting all the casts for those movies like corey feldman, robbie rist and others, and so forth, but those never came and the time is now to buy it atleast in HD or since all the mania is abrupt with these postings LOL. I have watched the only TMNT first movie over and over again the past week or two on tape only . Yes i do have TMNT that i watched twice i think the past last week, since the time it came out i seen it just bout that much on dvd.

If u think u have to be a kid or somethin to enjoy it, even if its turtles talking haha gotta like corey feldman, back then when i heard he would be in the movie i thought he would be greatly cast as casey jones lol but donatello was sweet, but he coulda had both roles lol. Robbie Rist i didnt know much that he was michalangelo, that he was the kid in brady bunch, now all grown up and can do voices. In 2 or even one they shoulda had bebop and rocksteady, even coulda put them in after for dvd or now blu as extended movie peices.

You should enjoy it if u like all kinds of movies, unless ur crazy and that u don't really care lol I seen even better HD pics on other sites for this and others and they look REALLY GOOD I LOVE BEING A TURTLE! COWABUNGA! LOL

I would say no, and normally I don't do this, but I rented the first and second films and watched them with a 1080p upconvert DVD player on my Bravia KDL46W5100 and was impresssed enough with the upconvert not to want to buy them on Blu.

I feel so dirty for saying this.

I wouldn't buy it since the live-action feature films have nary an extra except for the Theatrical Trailers. So I voted NO.
If the first three actually had a shedload of extra features WITHOUT the CGI film, you bet I'd buy them.

Yes because I don't see these getting better transfers if you won't buy because of no extras than you must not want the movies that bad

It's funny because I used to own all three on VHS but I never bought them on DVD. I could always rent them and eventually purchase the set, sell TMNT, and request custom covers for them. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy were titles I was really hoping they'd load on the supplemental features. I was disappointed.

Any Blu-ray case would get destroyed by sitting on it. I've had cases' corners shatter by dropping them 4 feet onto thick carpet. Actually, I'd say cardboard is probably stronger than a typical "Elite" case-- ugh.

Go for it! If the box is an issue look around the forum here - there are some really nice custom covers and replacement cases are pretty cheap. The price isn't that bad. I am looking at around $50 for my MovieStop pre-order. That's roughly going to equal to $12.50 per movie, That's not bad for 4 Blu's. All 4 films are fun to watch and I am going to take this chance to introduce my son to the Turtles!
