I don't believe there's been official word yet, but Optimum's past history says it's unlikely it will be region free. But stay tuned.... people should be receiving their copies soon to let us know.

New release of the dvd has the same cover. The back has the image from the poster then another twilight looking photo up top. I hope its region free, I don't see a US release in the near future.

I'm glad I didn't blindly order it. I thought all UK Blu's where region free?

The majority (if not all) of Optimum's BDs have been Region B. Also going by Optimum's past BDs, this probably won't retain any of the special features from Anchor Bay's previous excellent US and UK 2-disc editions.

That'll suck if it's region B. I really love the movie and the case art. What other UK titles are by Optimum or region locked?

http://bluray.liesinc.net/index.php?region=b I am guessing that it will be locked almost all of their previous releases have been locked except for a few. You can sort by studio to see just the Optimum releases.

Excellent review. I don't know what Optimum are playing at with these vanilla issues. Either they don't have the rights for much longer and are making a quick buck or they'll be selling special editions in a year or two. I'll wait for the US release
