[Show spoiler]Yeah, I have a few nitpicks with a playable character as the killer. I mean, of course his thoughts are different, since he is the killer. But not once does he think about it? I guess he just conveniently thinks of stashing bodies and setting up clues while we play as Ethan and co.?

My other big problem is the biggest clue, him killing Manfred, isn't technically possible from the player's view during the game's playthrogh. The flashback shows him going to check on him, killing, then stepping back and calling out. If I remember right, during the actual scene Scott never actually leaves our field of vision, making it impossible for that to happen.

The game is well-written and captivating and I loved it, but I'm still not convinced the killer should have been a playable character.

Unfortunately I had that experience the first time I played the game because it was ruined for me when some idiot decided to post who the killer was in this thread .

Is there some kind of guide for getting to ALL of the multiple endings? I played through the entire game and it seems like the last time you play each character would be the only thing that would effect the game ending.

Are there things early in the game that would effect the ending? It seems one could get most of the way through the game and then save the game, play the rest and then go back to the save point and make different choices.

I've only played through once, but I plan to play it again on Sept. 19 when I get my hands on the Move (I hope the update to HR comes out on or before that day.)

You can make it so you only need to go as far back as the fish tank scene with FBI guy and you can get all the endings. You just need to do things certain ways the first time so you don't have to go back.

I loaded the last chapter of my second playthrough and completed my third ending. It was having all 4 characters making it alive but failing. I must say the climax and epilogues were intense.

You can find many guides on videogaming websites that outline exactly what you must do for every ending. I took a look at it after my first playthrough.

Yeah, IGN's seems pretty good. That's the first one that I found after making my original post. I've played through once, but I'll wait until the Move to play through again.

Ah yes, makes sense. I'm still skeptical about the Move lol, i'm not sure if i'll ever get it. I have to say that magic wizard game looked more fun to me on the Move than Heavy Rain or Killzone 3 haha.

In a bid to promote their newfangled Move controller, Sony are re-releasing a couple of their soon-to-be patched games and bolting on “Move Edition” to the end of the title. And whilst we thought that these re-releases would include the same content as their original counterparts, that won’t be the case with Heavy Rain’s new retail version.

In an interview with gamesindustry.biz, founder and president of Quantic Dreams David Cage mentioned that the Move Edition of his gritty interactive crime drama will include “about 45 minutes of extra video content”

“We dedicated all of the Heavy Rain team to this extension, so it’s not really something we did cheap. We did it right, we’ve added a lot of content, there is about 45 minutes of extra video content that’s really interesting. The team has done a really great job of this version, it’s something we really, really worked on.”

Sounds like the Paris based team are simply including more behind the scenes content rather than some extra gameplay chapters. If you already have the game and aren’t interested in these videos showing the transition from “press X to Jason” to “Move waggle to Jason” then the regular edition will be patched with motion controls when the Move Edition launches next month.

Has this been confirmed? If the 45 minutes of extra footage really just behind the scenes stuff?

So you’ve held on to your copy of Heavy Rain, waiting patiently for the Move update. “Why buy the Move Edition, when the patch will be free?” you ask. Well it looks like there’s actually a bit more in the Heavy Rain Move Edition than we already knew of: David Cage has revealed that the re-release includes “about 45 minutes of extra video content that’s really interesting”.

“We dedicated all of the Heavy Rain team to this extension, so it’s not really something we did cheap,” said Cage in an interview with gamesindustry.biz. “We did it right, we’ve added a lot of content, there is about 45 minutes of extra video content that’s really interesting. The team has done a really great job of this version, it’s something we really, really worked on.”

Keeps saying Video content Not gameplay content

Here it is:

Added INFO:

It will include the following bonus content on the disk:

* The Taxidermist playable scene
* 3 x dynamic XMB themes for your PS3
* Full game stereo soundtrack
* Making Of videos: There are 9 Making Of videos totaling in around 45 minutes in length. They feature a behind the scenes insight into the game’s development with interviews from the development team and the game’s cast. If you’re a Heavy Rain fan, they’re not to be missed!

Heavy Rain Move Edition Is Coming!

You’ll be able to download a Heavy Rain Move Edition demo from PlayStation Store on 15th September. The demo features two of the early levels from the game, Sleazy Place and Crime Scene, and is fully playable with PlayStation Move.

Heavy Rain has been given a PlayStation Move makeover so expect to be even more drawn into the action and for your every decision and every move to make a difference!

And on 22nd September the Move Edition patch will be released and it will automatically download to your PS3 when you boot up Heavy Rain. So if you already have a copy of Heavy Rain, you can download this FREE patch and play the game with the new PlayStation Move controls.

Wow! Thanks for the info.

As much as I want to see the 45 minutes of "Making of" videos, I think I'll pass. Perhaps some of that content will end up on YouTube or the PSN? I already have The Taxidermist (which I'm assuming will also get the Move update automatically) and I couldn't care less about the dynamic XMB themes or the soundtrack.

AGREE 100%

Not worth the purchase if you already own it. Plus it will have a price tag of $49.99 and up.

Buy the older version for $20-$25 pay $9 for DLC and save $20+.

Is the patch not out yet or you just don't have the move?

Edit: Nevermind, I read above. That sounds pretty awesome but I'll pass on that as well.

I am basically buying the Move JUST for this game. Of course, the demo disc and the Sports disc will keep me occupied and getting familiar with the controllers until the HR update is released, but this is the game I'm really excited to play with the Move controllers.

And, of course, for my kids, I plan to rent EyePet and others just to see if my boys will enjoy it. I think this is going to be the way that I introduce more gaming to my boys. That SIXAXIS controller is a complicated beast for a 5-year-old.
