If it is what is the point with putting a DVD with a blu-ray movie I'm tired of this how is Blu-ray going to take over if studios keep putting DVD with Blu-ray they never did it with VHS so why do it now?

How did I know this was coming..? Cartoons of Horton and Grinch are coming to blu in October... only a matter of time they released Carrey's other remake.

Good news, for me. I know that this movie does not have a lot of fans but I love it and I will buy it on BD, should look very sweet indeed.

year I remember taking my little bro to see it. we both enjoyed it very well. The Cat in the House I thought was out of control. The amount of language they used in that movie was shocking, can't believe it was actually done as a family movie.

The list price is only $19.98? I wonder if that's an error on there site, especially since 0 major catalog titles released on BD have debuted with that listing.

I love this movie so I'm happy about this news.

I just wish Universal kept the original name of "The Grinch". It's a better title, imo and it makes it so it's not confusing the movie with the cartoon. This is probably a classic scenario where marketing declared name recognition was more important than consumer confusion. Oh well. Like I said, I'm still glad the movie is coming. It should look awesome (it better).

Just a small warning to people. I have this on hd dvd and the video quality was pretty bad. Probably one of my softest, dullest video transfers in my collection

totally agree. Saw this oddly enough on one of the extra cable channels I have. I think it might look pretty sweet!!!!
