Star Wars CLONE WARS Blu-Ray Exclusive 2 Disc GIFT SET + Comic Book

I was looking around Amazon and I noticed this "Star Wars CLONE WARS Blu-Ray Exclusive 2 Disc GIFT SET + Comic Book" that is no longer. I did an internet search and I could not find out much about it. Does anyone know what all extra stuff it had? Was the extra stuff just like slipcovers and a comic book or was there also more bonus stuff on this Blu-ray.

I am trying to find out if that other Blu-ray edition had more bonus stuff on the Blu-ray discs than my edition has.

That is the version I have. I think the only difference is the packaging & the comic book. I'll double check when I get home and let you know.

TL thought these were out of print. TL also owns this edition. However, TL hates the slipcover since it's meant to fit the movie and comic book together

Porkchop Express loves slipcovers also. Its too big. The movie & the comic fall out easily.

This is the Target exclusive version. I have it. The people selling it on Amazon are just "resellers" who got theirs at Target (or from someone else who got it at Target), and Amazon never carried this item first-hand.

I was at a local Target the other day and they still had some copies left, so you might still be able to find it.

The slip cover for this was terrible, but I almost don't even count it as a slipcover in the usual sense, but more as a special 'box' that the set with exclusive items comes in.

The movie, itself, is in a regular BD case with this artwork on it. But the whole thing (with comic, etc) is in a larger/taller slipcover type thing that is as tall as a DVD case.

While I do usually like slipcovers myself, I chose this version over the standard BD edition because I liked the artwork a lot better. Personally, I would have much prefered if they had come out with a version that used the artwork from the standard 1-disc DVD edition formatted for a Blu-Ray case (instead, in typcial fashion, they used the 2-disc special DVD version's cover, which wasn't as good IMO, for the standard BD cover). Since the Target version came closest to that single disc DVD artwork, I chose it.

I don't believe this version has any extra discs that the 'standard' Blu-Ray version doesn't, but I'll have to double check. Aside from the different packaging, I thought that the only exclusive extra was the comic.

I was considering this because I like the cover a lot too. But I don't think it's worth the price simply for that. So I'll pass. Thanks for the info! (I thought there might be more to it because of the "2-Disk" claim.

My preferred version was the BB-exclusive steelbook, but that was only for the DVD.
