Surely it won't take this long! Can anyone else ordered who has ordered from Amazon Canada recently, confirm how long it took before item received.
Amazon CA shipping is interesting. Generally if you buy two or more items they ship via DHL and they are here in a matter of a week (or less). Then again, if it's a single item it can take a lot longer. Funny you should mention From Dusk Till Dawn, but I ordered it with the Batman Begins and Heat SteelBooks. The Steels shipping 20/3 and arrived 4/4 (5 days), while From Dusk Till Dawn was shipped by itself on February 23 and has not yet arrived (44 days and counting). It has a delivery estimate of May 19. I think that for single items they must use sea mail and for multiples you find yourself "upgraded" to courier delivery as this is the first time a single item has shipped for me. All the rest have come via DHL and have arrived in less than a week.

As noted above, if there are multiple items I actually think they are the best Amazon for shipping. If shipped via DHL not only do they arrive in as little as 3 days but it's all trackable. You definitely don't get that service on the cheapest shipping options from other Amazon sites.

That's one helluva wait for a barebones disc with a mediocre transfer. I dont know who the studio is, but arent you better off waiting?

It is a much better transfer than the upcoming US release. I am not really worried about lack of special features either.

Due to ship in the next few days so I think I will persevere with this order. I have got around 400 unwatched blu rays at the moment so no desperate hurry for this movie to arrive.

Thanks for the info. My next order from Amazon Canada will definitely be for 2 or more items!

Just a heads up but my local JB has the Spider-Man trilogy for the ridiculous price of $20. Other stores may have it so if you're after it you won't get it any cheaper!

Thumbs up

Last Blu Ray I bought and watched was the third Chronicles of Narnia movie. I always really enjoy these and loved this one as well. Got the JB over sized tin limited edition for only $25.00. Great .

Watching Twilight right now. They get written off so easily cause of the way the fans act but I actually don't mind them at all.

Bought Megamind. Liked this movie much more than Despicable Me.

Watched 3:10 to Yuma. Absolutely incredible 7.1 PCM Soundtrack.

I don't know if this won any awards for best audio, but damn it sure deserved to.

Non-Blu Watch: Hobo with a Shotgun

Not as good as Machete, as the acting was extremely over the top. The gore was really badly done, but overall once the action picked up it was worth the 80 odd minutes in the end.

Are you like me, did you find the colours a bit too much at times?
