Out Of Sight was fantastic, as well as 3.10 to Yuma, and don't get me started on the brilliance of Justified...
Agreed... love Out of Sight.... I just re-watched Minority Report, it has a scene where Tom Cruise hits the front of Colin Farrel's car (who is chasing Tom Cruise) and Colin gives him this awkward little wave, it reminded me immediately of George Clooney's wave to J-Lo in Out of Sight

Justified is possibly one of the best shows currently on TV!!

CANCELLED my Superman Anthology order after reading the review.

Superman Returns features the same troubling 1080p/VC-1 video transfer as its critically panned 2006 Blu-ray release and 2008 BD re-release.

It can wait IMO, no re-master for Returns mean no need to buy the box set.

^ That might be deal breaker for me if I owned the two other previous BD releases of 1 & 2 but fortunately I held off and it's paid off for me. I really wish they'd done a new one for Returns too though something's telling me that we might see a new release of Returns and singles of the remaining films released to tie in with the theatrical release of the new Supes film. If that's the case I'll just pick up the single release of Returns when that happens and flog off the old version.

My T2 Steel arrived from Amazon UK today.

Traded in LA Noire this arvo and picked up Romeo and Juliet with some of the credit.

Been eyeing it off since its release but didn't really want to pay for it (haha) so getting it relatively 'for free' felt perfect haha

French and Korean cinema are excellent. Check out La samourai if you liked Le Cercle Rouge. Alain Delon is the coolest mofo in cinema if you ask me. Another good one with him in it is Scorpio.

Hired and watched Dead Silence today and really liked it. It was creepy (as soon as I saw the Dummy, I was creeped out) and the atmosphere and lighting was fantastic. I thought the effects where spot on and was nice to see they weren't overdone and I enjoyed the storyline and acting and loved the ending, nice twist. Great movie.

I'll be picking it up on Blu ray for sure.

Surprisingly well actually. Heard so-so reviews of the bluray but I have to say i'm fairly pleased with it. Was only $15 at JB, on the two for 30 sale. So many classic lines in that film, good memories watching it again. I heard they are remaking it!!!!

I think I'll pass and wait for the inevitable individual releases.

You can't go wrong with any of those titles fountain of youth! Fight Club and Se7en look absolutely gorgeous on blu-ray and so does Blade Runner. I doubt that 12 Monkeys will ever look any better than this current edition that is out now on blu-ray. May I also suggest, if you don't already have them, the Alien Anthology, Pitch Black and also Gattaca.

Interested in every genre as long as it has a good story. Probably enjoy gangster/mob/police movies the most.
