Season 6 of The Office starts tonight! I'm excited for it to start up again.

"Gossip": Aired Sept. 17

As the summer interns prepare to depart, the office begins gossiping about them and Michael feels left out. As Michael searches for the next rumor to share, Andy struggles with heterosexuality.

"The Meeting": Aired Sept. 24

Jim makes a request to Michael that leaves him feeling insecure and defensive. Pam tries to deal with the guest list for the wedding and Dwight talks Toby into investigating Darryl's worker's comp claim.

"The Promotion": Aired Oct. 1

David Wallace breaks the bad news that not everyone will get a raise this year. Dwight reaches his breaking point with Jim and looks to the rest of the office for allies. Pam would like cash instead of wedding gifts.

"Niagra" (hour long episode): Aired Oct. 8

The Office travels to Niagara Falls to celebrate Jim and Pam's wedding under strict orders not to mention Pam's pregnancy. Michael, Dwight, and Andy all want to hook up with guests at the wedding and Michael and Dwight meet twins.

"Mafia": Aired Oct. 15

Michael is convinced an insurance salesman visiting the office is part of the mafia and sets out to prove it.

"The Lover": Aired Oct. 22

Michael shocks Jim and Pam when he reveals that he has been dating Pam's mother, after they return from their honeymoon in Puerto Rico. Dwight apologizes to Jim for years of torment with a strange peace offering.

"Koi Pond": Aired Oct. 29

It's Halloween and the office plans a "Haunted House" for the children in the community. And at an important business meeting, Michael falls into a koi pond. Meanwhile, Pam and Andy go cold calling to drum up more sales.

"Double Date": Aired Nov. 5

Jim and Pam are out of excuses so they have no choice but to go out with Michael and Helene, Pam's mother. Meanwhile, Dwight is strangely doing nice things for everyone in the office.

"Murder": Aired Nov. 12

Vicious rumors spread about Dunder Mifflin and have a powerful impact on Michael, who leads the office into a bizarre day of diversions and distractions, perturbing Jim and causing the staffers to question Michael's mental state.

"Shareholder Meeting": Aired Nov. 19

Michael gets excited when he's invited by David Wallace to be honored on stage at the Dunder Mifflin shareholder meeting in New York, and he brings Andy, Dwight and Oscar along for the ride. Meanwhile, Jim has a hard time getting Ryan to do work.

"Scott's Tots": Aired Dec. 3

Michael is forced to face the music after he realizes he can't keep a promise he made to a group of kids 10 years ago. Meanwhile, Jim starts an employee of the month program to increase employee morale.

This episode is expected to continue the insolvency story arc that started in Murder.

"Secret Santa": Aired Dec. 10

Michael is outraged when Jim allows Phyllis to be Santa at the office Christmas party. Jim and Dwight try to get everyone into the holiday spirit despite the uncertainty with Dunder Mifflin. Meanwhile, Oscar has a secret crush.

"The Banker": Aired on Jan. 21

When a potential buyer comes to Dunder Mifflin, Michael, Dwight, Andy and Pam pull out all the stops in hopes of impressing him with their high profile contacts. Michael reminisces about all the great times they have had in the office.

"Sabre": Aired on Feb. 4

When Sabre comes in to take over Dunder Mifflin, Michael struggles to accept Sabre's new policies. Pam and Jim have an interview for a local daycare they really want to get into. Andy and Erin work on a welcome song for Sabre as Erin waits for Andy to ask her out. Kathy Bates guest stars.

Last year was great. Revitalized the show for me after a dismal and ridiculous Season 4.

im interested in this, any ideas what this means? is andy a still in the closet gay man? i had heard this speculated about before, which is why i ask, its seems like an odd statement otherwise, unless im missing something

but it sounds good, classic michael scott, i cant wait!

Dude I cannot wait for the show to be back...I feel like my life has meaning again.

Season 5 overall was great, but there were a few episodes in the middle that were just decent (even though The Office decent is still better than most shows at their best). However, the last third of the season, they were on a roll with fantastic episodes, so I'm hoping they continue down that path.

I'm sure most people are focusing on the Jim/Pam storyline, but personally I'm more excited to see where they take Michael/Holly and Dwight/Angela. I think those subplots are far more unpredictable.

Finally! A reason to actually turn on NBC for half an hour!! Just as long as The Office's timeslot doesn't interfere with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I think they will find a good balance between all of them. I mainly hope they bring back more of the conflict between Jim and Dwight, those were some of the absolute best episodes.

Fortunately, It's Always Sunny airs about 937 times per week, so you can always catch it later.

That stuff was the best... I was crying form laughing so hard when they were in the conference room going through all the complaints Dwight had filed against Jim.

Jim : Dwight tried to kiss me.
Michael : What?
Jim : And I didn’t tell anyone, ’cause I’m not really sure how I feel about it.
Dwight : That is not true. Redact it. Redact it!
Jim : Well, I’m not actually making a formal complaint. I just really think we should talk about it.

Classic Jim vs. Dwight.
I've been watching Season 5 all week long revving up for tonight!!!! Andy was be becoming one of the more interesting characters over the past 3 seasons...I hope they don't screw his character up-every season he seems to get better and better.

the single moment in the office that made me laugh the hardest was in season 1. Michael gets the ice cream sandwhiches for the office, and Dwight gets locked in the conference room. So Jim throws Dwights sandwhich at the window.
