I think he would. One thing we know about Michael Scott is he has to be accepted and liked. He wants to be everyone's friend. That's why he took Stanley's lip before without firing him. Before he took Terrie's call, he knew he was about to mess things up for Stanley. So (completely IMO) he may just see it as tit for tat (or tit for tit, as Dwight would say) and move on in a desperate attempt to be his employee's "friend". I think the VO while Stanley smashed the car was another way to reflect how Michael is often so oblivious to the chaos he often creates.

I can't even explain it. It's a phenomenon.
I assume you mean likeable THEN infuriating? If that's what you mean, then I agree. I used to love The Office but now I can't stand it, I missed last night's premiere and now the foot's coming down.

Good call. In that context, the VO does make more sense.

I'm excited to watch this episode again. They're almost always better the second time around, and you catch a lot of things you missed the first time.

Absolutely. Hell, I'll watch them multiple times anyway. I'm interested to see where they will take the Andy-is-gay stuff. Seems to me they could get a lot of mileage out of that.

I think the show was more interesting when they weren't together, but they're a "cute" couple, and it's a nice change on TV.

Perhaps it's also that there really isn't much more ground for the show to cover. Just feels like a romantic comedy now which turned me off of it.

The stuff with Andy was so hilarious; I couldn't stop laughing when he said that the odds were stacked against him

I'm glad they actually got together. Every show follows the same tired formula of two people who just can't seem to get together for various reasons .

It's nice to finally have a show that plays out in a more realistic way. People express their feelings eventually and get together. The show is about The Office, not Jim and Pam anyway. Them getting to gether allows for the show to go in different directions without always having to rely on the boy-girl relationship.

Great episode... I need to watch it again too, but many great parts. I loved when Creed went off about SCUBA too.

And from Andy: "This is not the first time rumors about me being gay have come up. Twice before actually. Just a weird coincidence. A little too weird. Almost makes you wonder if it's not a coincidence at all! Whoa! Which it is, of course. But it makes you wonder."

Great season premiere. The "Is Andy gay" stuff was great. Him jumping in the fridge box had me rolling (even if it was obvious to a blind man that's what was gonna happen). The best for me was when was talking about his Brad Pitt "fantasy" and his reaction when Jim told him he had to have sex with a woman and a man

Once again Creed delivered with his very limited screen time. His SCUBA rant was phenomenal. As much as I want him to be on there more, too much Creed would make him too unbelievable.

I can't wait until Thursday.

"The Meeting": To Air on Sept. 24

Jim makes a request to Michael that leaves him feeling insecure and defensive. Pam tries to deal with the guest list for the wedding and Dwight talks Toby into investigating Darryl's worker's comp claim.

Finally! He is the most underused member of the cast. I don't complain about the Office a lot but the use of Darryl these last couple of seasons has been criminal.

You're talking about people who actually take the time out of their day to create a video montage of someone else's TV show.

They are not the best and brightest bulbs. I guarantee they think they are awesome.

Haha Creed had the best line. He is my favorite. The Brad Pitt was hysterical too.

I loved when Darryl tought Michael some new words...

Darryl: I taught Mike some, uh, some phrases to help with his interracial conversation. You know, stuff like, "fleece it out," "going mach 5," "dinkin' flicka." You know, things us Negroes say.
