I am still in shock. I thought UNI was good, and among the top 16, but not better than Kansas. I think Ben Jacobson made himself a lot of money today, whether its from Iowa or Oregon or someone else. Best of luck to him. I'm at the bars but I keep watching the UNI highlights in disbelief.

On ESPN 59.3% of people had Kansas in the finals, with 42.2% picking them to win it all.

This might be the all time biggest early round bracket buster, as usually there isn't such a clear-cut favorite.

I guess Kentucky is the best school left, the two schools I actually like have been knocked out.

That would be great to see just for the Huggins/Martin matchup, but I don't see West Virginia getting past Kentucky. In my brackets I picked experience over talent, and now I'm obviously second guessing that. I should have picked Kentucky all along. But at the same time, who could have predicted Kansas being bounced in the second round. When when the last time the #1 overall seed got bounced this early? The UAB/Kentucky game several years back?

Yeah, back in 2004 I think was the year we got beat out in the second round.

2002 also (that was sweet 16 though) when maryland went through Kentucky, Uconn, Kansas, and Indiana for the ship

Maryland over MSU (I know we are higher seeded, but that doesn't mean crap) we'll probably get out rebounded like crazy and get whipped, but I'm hoping

I know I was dumbfounded ... They didn't deserve to win though they played like trash for almost the entire game. So I don't feel near as bad as if they had played good and then just didn't come out on top.

They sure do. They are the 2nd best team right now behind Kentucky. I do have a feeling Cornell is going to pull it off this Thursday.

Thought you Duke guys were smarter than that?

Cornell is a really good team but UK is bigger,stronger and faster all across the line. If they play as well as they have he 1st two games I'm not worried. Cornell can really shoot the ball though and that's gave UK problems all year...I expect a UK win but I'm sure it's going to be way too close for comfort.

I hope the Boilermakers win their next game though

LOL Sure it will But anyway you look at it, Duke only has 1 more game, 3 at max before they are knocked out right? Because if they beat Purdue. they have to play either Kentucky West Virgina, Washington, or, like you are hoping Cornell. You know they can't beat any of those 4 teams.
