I've already pre-ordered my copy. I really enjoyed the movie for what it was. And I will watch Rachel McAdam in just about anything.

I have been holding off wanting to read the book first, which is bad to say on a Blu-Ray forum I know, but if I dont read it before it comes out on Blu-Ray then I dont think I can wait any longer!

The book is amazing. It's much darker and far more complex than the movie, which stripped it down a lot to focus on the central relationship. Which I had no problem with, though a lot of hardcore fans got all annoyed.

Has anybody bought this on Blu-Ray yet? I know it came out recently, so I was just wondering if anybody could shed some light on the PQ and give some general views on this release? Thank you!

There's some unnecessary edge enhancement going on which completely detracts from the quality. Also the extras package is hardly extensive or exciting. It's a little disappointing.

I presume the feature is still good viewing quality though, despite to the lack of extras...?

The edge enhancement makes it look like the entire film was shot on green screen, pretty much. It's really distracting.

Just wanted to mention that my copy bought from Amazon.co.uk last week does only have English subs and not the German, Spanish or Dutch subs as is mentioned here
http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Ti...-Blu-ray/7751/

It's a real pitty cause I'd bought it for my wife, and now she doesn't want to watch it because of the missing subs...
Projection HW: HTPC - Epson EH-TW5500 - Kingpin 90" 16:9 framescreen
Sound system: Onkyo TX-NR609 - Jamo S 608 7.1 speakerset - Jamo SUB 300
